Enjoy stunning views of the ocean, airport, and garden from the spacious patio as well as strolls to the local shops and Casino Royale for entertainment. The Space: This stylish fully furnished studio apartment with garden views is in great condition and offers tile throughout and a large balcony including lounge chairs and dining area with table and four chairs. "The Grand Getaway 1172" is a first level (fully air- conditioned) studio apartment with Kitchen, Dining area, Living area with two club chairs, and a King Bed with 55" TV. It is equipped with FREE WIFI including the Highest Speed Internet offered and Cable TV with over 35+ channels. Some nights may be noisy as the apartment is close to the main street side of the building. For families / friends that wish to group together, "Grand Getaway 1172" is a pool level studio apartment that sleeps 2 and can be connected by a locked door between 1172 and 1173.​ "Sublime Stay 1173" is a pool level 1 bedroom apartment that sleeps 4 and can be connected by a lock door between 1172 and 1173. "Optimum Oasis 1182" is a pool level studio apartment that sleeps 2.​ "Paradise Perch 3382" is a third level 1 bedroom apartment that sleeps 4.​ Guest Access: You have access to the entire apartment and large private pool at La Terrasse and the front desk reception provides free towel service (with deposit). The Neighborhood: Maho Beach is one of the most famous beaches in the world, located at the end of the runway of Princess Juliana International Airport, laying the scene for many vacation movies that have gone viral. At the epicenter of Sint Maarten, Maho Village is a destination within a destination that redefines entertainment, dining, shopping and gaming in a vibrant resort atmosphere. Steps away from the famous plane landings over Maho Beach, duty-free boutiques, a host of award-winning restaurants, bars, cafés and lounges to suit every palate and mood, while show-stopping scenes create memorable Maho moments. Getting Around: Local Bus throughout the island Taxi Walk throughout Maho Village Rental Car: Underground parking is located at the building for $8/day. The front reception desk will issue you a key card. Other Things to Note: The apartment is privately owned and located in the Royal Islander Complex building La Terrasse. It is a plane spotting paradise between 7am-7pm. The average temp in the winter months is 28C (82F) during the day and 25C (75F) at night. Cancellation Policy: Bookings canceled at least 30 days before check-in will receive 95% refund (5% credit card processing fee applies). Bookings canceled at least 14 days before check-in will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued within 14 days of the check-in date. We found it very cozy for just 2 people. The unit was very clean, supplied with enough ingredients, coffee & creamer, paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, soap and plenty of dishes and cookware. The bed was very comfortable, extra pillows and blankets in the closet. The outdoor patio was perfect right on the roof top garden. I was able to go over the side and walk the garden area right from my patio everyday. Large closet with a safe which we used, very easy to use. AC worked GREAT.The pool area is an easy walk right down the hallway with an ice machine just 30 feet from our front door. Very nice pool and hot tub. Pool bar open daily and it's run by a very friendly lady and her husband. Others mentioned the Wee lounge next door, yes, you can hear the base going until 3am NOT super load when laying in bed, more of a faint distance sound, we had our noise machine on which helped drown it out for the most part.Maho main street is right out the front door with plenty of shops, bars, restaurants and casino. Makes for a very fun night out without having to drive any where.We will for sure rent again. My only suggestion would be to have a broom in the room. There was a dry mop and dust pan I used to sweep up the sand daily and dump, otherwise a PERFECT STAY once again.Jeffrey the caretaker was very on top of things and very easy to communicate with, answered right away. ##### Renee E. From the moment of booking until check out\~ I was super impressed. Great communication with detailed direction! Upon arrival to unit, very clean, and a beautiful garden view, just a few steps from a glorious pool/hot tub/bar. It was a treat to see coffee/dish soap/and so many other necessities! \*not sure if past guest left or if this was an upgrade due to great host. There is a market next door, tons of fantastic places to eat, a casino with the best sushi I've every had!
