"This is a little gem in Montecito! We stayed here with our family of 5 (Our children are 19-24). The house is well represented in the photos and the overall vibe is clean, cozy and serene. We are from Texas and are accustomed to A/C, but this house doesn't need it at all. We visited during August and the windows are screened in and well placed providing lots of natural light and a cool breeze. The home feels secluded and tucked away, but also is very convenient to the beach and downtown...

"Fully equipped kitchen with lots of room to work and appliances were in good working condition. I would only recommend adding a non-stick pan compatible spatula. How to use the futon as a bed was not clear but we figured it out dnd the futon was comfortable. For some reason a phone msg for assistance was never answered but it was not critical. Loved the neighborhood and close proximity to stores and restaurants was superb. Would definitely return. We had no idea the Montecito creek abutted...

"The house was as wonderfully quirky as advertised. So many interesting handcrafted details to admire. Stunning location. My only complaint is that while the kitchen is very well outfitted for cooking there are absolutely no supplies on hand. Not even salt and pepper. There is coffee and tea but be prepared to bring everything else."
