"This Hotel was one of the nicest I've ever stayed at! The Staff , location, cleanliness. Walking distance to everything and in a quiet location. We almost stayed up top in Quebec city but were so glad we chose lower as it is much quieter with great restaurants .A perfect stay~"

"Really comfortable room. Cozy bed with very nice pillows. Good lighting. Nice shower with multiple shower heads. Parking was just two blocks away and easy to get in and out of. You do need to stop by the hotel first to pick up a key card. No real parking near the hotel so just pull up and dash in. Was at the bottom of the cliff near the river so getting up to the main town was a bit of a trek up a hill or stairs but you can always take the funicular which is fun and fast ($). Breakfast in the morning was great…very European with breads, yogurt, fruit, cheese, meats, hard boiled eggs, and more. Front desk staff was very helpful. "

"The hotel is a 12 to 15 minute slow walk from the main train station but if you have loads of luggage, taxis are available outside the station. The room is beautiful and very clean. It is a quiet part of town but there are good restaurants nearby. Rue de Petit Champlain is just a 10 minute walk from the hotel and the upper side of Old Quebec is just a 2 minute funicular ride. What makes this hotel attractive is the beautiful library and the large seating are next to the reception where you can quietly sit and read a book or use your laptop while you help yourself with a good tea or coffee that is always available. The strong point of this hotel is the very helpful and friendly staff whom I happen to meet, Lianne, Andrew and Anne. I needed a quiet place to attend a one-hour business video call and Andrew and Anne made this possible. Anne even made a calming tea for me. Such genuine kindness from all the staff. I definitely recommend this place if you want a relaxing stay."
