"A short walk from Essen train station, the hotel is reasonable for the price. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, with good heating and air-conditioning unit, a kettle with tea and coffee, a complimentary bottle of water. "Quiet place but clean. Front desk was friendly. We had a car so we drove around for the most part, they had free on site parking outside and in the garage. I did see bus stops around the area when walking to the bakery. There is a bakery two minutes away from the hotel which had really nice baked goods. Grocery store near by if you want to buy snacks.
