This was just what we needed! The cottage had a kitchen that was well stocked with cookware and dishware if you’re planning to prepare meals while on your trip. We had our 8 1/2 year old large dog with us, and she appreciated the lovely yard and screened in porch and quiet walks along Georgetown Harbor in the mornings. The bed was very comfortable in the primary bedroom. Our favorite thing was that screened in porch, though! In the mornings we would brew up some coffee and prepare some breakfast to sit there and listen to the birds and admire the waterfront. The town of Montague is about a 10 minute drive away and has two good sized supermarkets and a few places to grab some coffee and bites to eat, Charlottetown is only a 45 minutes drive, and all of the Anne of Green Gables sites are about 1 hr 15 away. There may be cottages with more central locations, but we loved having the opportunity to explore a quieter side of the island. The cottage had everything we needed so we didn’t have too many interactions with the host, but checkin and checkout was a breeze and they responded to messages promptly. The cottage was stocked with all the things we needed, the beach was great for kids who wanted to explore and it was so quiet and peaceful. It was a real getaway from all the “noise” of life. We really appreciated how the host provided us with all the information we needed and we knew she was available to respond to us at anytime—but at the same time wasn’t constantly checking in. It genuinely felt like was arrived at our own cottage. The area was so quiet and far enough from the overcrowded popular areas but close enough to drive and visit everything. The cabin has very comfortable beds and the best part is the screened in porch. It’s a close drive to town with all the amenities. Would definitely stay here again!!!! ##### Joe T. Our little cottage was a great to place to return to at the end of the day exploring. The screened in porch was a nice place to relax before bed. We wanted to enjoy the views and eat all the seafood. The location allows for beautiful morning sun streaming through the screened in porch and wonderful sunsets right across the street where you have access to a small beach waterfront. Cottage is fully equipped with updated bathroom and kitchen and all the basics you need for your stay. Would highly recommend this place to my family and friends and would stay there again. Clean, newly renovated and very well equipped with everything we needed including basic food items like spices, oil, sugar. It comes equipped with BBQ. We loved the screened in porch and had every meal there! We enjoyed swimming at the beach across the (quiet) road from the cottage every day and loved our runs to the end of the road & back.
