From the beautiful and homely interior to the ideal location for finding interesting things to do, it was perfect. As a native from louisville kentucky, I can say this property is ideal for anyone looking to explore and experience louisville seeing as there are many great places to go with some of them close by and most being not too far out. Personally I enjoyed most of my stay within the property cooking and relaxing. Although I did have a number of reservations made prior and a list of places I planned to visit, which made the location of this property all the more perfect seeing as all of which were within a 10-15 minute range. Location is excellent, close to many restaurants and downtown. Great little "Cheers" bar just down the street, and a wonderful bakery just a block away! Karen and Ken are super landlords and live next door. They are a wealth of knowledge about the area. We were having a problem connecting one of the TV's they came over immediately and got it fixed. We walked down to the outdoor ice skating rink and visited many of the vintage/thrift shops that were within walking distance. We drove to Lights under Louisville and were impressed by the beautiful display of Christmas lights. One minor critique of the area is that some people may feel a bit unsafe in the seedier parts of the neighborhood that were littered with trash, clothes, and abandoned buildings, especially if they are not used to or familiar with the area.The area seemed to be in a transition between what used to be and what is to come.
