Welcome to Kentucky visitors, horse lovers, Bourbon Trail guests, or anyone looking for a scenic getaway! Rest, relax, and recharge in an exclusive gated community overlooking Taylorsville Lake. Don’t be another hotel's customer when you can stay in a super quiet, spacious home with a Jacuzzi J-235 hot tub.

This is a somewhat rustic, somewhat homey, comfortable 20 year old cottage in a lakeside community. It's not perfect, has it's character (like we all do) but our guests find it charming and sufficient for travel needs. We do our best to ensure VIP guests have a carefree stay in a reliable home with comfortable amentities. You'll find the home is exactly as pictured with the offerings and expectations.   
  
We invite you to enjoy the lake and wildlife, with a cold beverage on your private deck, or an evening of movies and games. It’s great for a weekend, a week, or a month; ideal for alone time, business travel, or to share with family and friends.  
  
Plus, enjoy special amentities like fiber optic internet, Roku enabled smart televisions, and a deluxe, state of the art Jacuzzi J-235 hot tub.   
  
The space:  
  
Fully furnished 2-bedroom, 2-bath cottage that sleeps up to 6, with a king and 2 twin beds, along with a premium air mattress. You will have access to a full kitchen, two bathrooms, washer & dryer, and a living room stocked with 25 board games and 30 movies.  
  
You will appreciate the tranquil serenity of the private deck following a fun filled day on the lake, trip down the Bourbon Trail, world famous horse farms, infinite Louisville attractions, or other sites the beautiful area has to offer. Then unwind in an incredible hot tub under a night sky filled with stars.

Includes resort pool, sand volleyball court, fire pit area and playground. Charcoal grill on the cottage property. You may rent a pontoon or fishing boat at the Taylorsville Lake Marina. There are hiking trails where you can walk down to the lake.  
  
• Half mile from Taylorsville Lake Marina  
• Two miles from Tanglewood, a fantastic, challenging golf course  
• Local bourbon trails and the historic town of Taylorsville  
• 30-35 minutes from downtown Louisville, including Churchill Downs, Louisville Slugger Museum, Kentucky Kingdom, and much more  
  
Hosts live close. Available via text, call, and email to answer questions. There is also a property manager at the front Welcome Center.  
  
House Rules:  
No smoking  
Small Pets ( under 25 lbs) allowed with approval.  
No parties or events without approval  
Check-in is anytime after 3PM. If you’d like to arrive a little earlier to get settled, simply check in advance.  
  
Check out by 11AM  
  
Damage: Accidents may happen. We understand that. Please let us know when they do. Chances are we can fix them as effortlessly as possible. It betters the chances of having your full security deposit returned.  
  
Do not leave trash inside or outside. Please dispose of trash in the dumpster located near the Edgewater Resort office.  
  
Due to safety, guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied by parents or guardians. Do not leave children unattended  
  
Noise: To be considerate of others, we kindly ask to keep things on the quieter side after 9:00 PM.  
  
Security: Do not share the gate or house code with anyone outside your party. The area is very safe, but we want to ensure your stay is safe and problem free.  
  
Check out is by 11 am. Security monitoring begins within two hours of check out when guests are no longer onsite.

Though unexpectedly cold outside, the inside was warm and inviting. The kitchen was big enough to prepare our lighter fare but could have done anything. The rooms were clean and odor free. The shower pressure was intense but awesome. The hot tub was a delightful warm spot in the cold. The caretaker was quick with responses to our questions.

We had absolutely no wants during this stay! If I’m honest the place surpassed our expectations. The little resort was very nice and quiet as well as private. There were plenty of towels and the kitchen was well equipped. For someone considering this for a bourbon trail type trip, definitely book it! The centralized location was perfect. It’s right in the middle of the “bourbon triangle”. Can’t recommend this place enough!

This property was perfect for our bourbon trail trip. It’s central to Louisville, Frankfort and Bardstown. Everything was comfortable and we especially appreciated the hot tub at the end of our long days.

We have stayed in multiple properties at this resort, and this one was by far our favorite! Not only was it stocked beyond expectation with games and supplies, but it was so very clean and comfortable. I would give it 10 stars if possible the communication by the host was also exceptional although we had no issues to report, they still made sure we were comfortable and checked in.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was a perfect location to explore the Bourbon Trail during the day (went to 5 different distilleries) and then relax in the cottage in the evening, especially the hot tub. It was very well appointed - it had everything we needed.

We had a very nice time at this cottage! My kids loved the pool and hot tub. Beds were comfortable and there were a lot of extra special touches. We felt safe and sound. Jeramie was kind enough to call me with suggestions on what to do in the area. I definitely appreciated that. Thank you

#### Clean, quiet, home in a wonderful Community

Spent a week loving the Hot tub and the view! The house is easy, clean, and well maintained. One of the many reasons we chose this one was for the level entry walkway and the "new" hot tub. The host is quick to respond and helpful. The kitchen is well stocked with crocks, pots, pans and utensils (and some typical spices and such in the cabinets). Master bed is firm and there's plenty of pillows for you to find your sweet spot. The hot tub was the biggest draw and it did not disappoint! This is our 2nd visit to this resort community. This home has a great view of the lake we thoroughly enjoyed. We also love how central it is to the surrounding areas, towns, country roads, cities.

#### Fabulous Host!

This place was everything and more! The owner called us the day that we were scheduled to arrive to let us know that the house was ready and that it was not affected by all of the flooding that Louisville had. This was super impressive! He then was quick to let us know about good places to eat and fun things to do.The house was fantastic! Super clean. Had everything we needed, even some snacks for the kids! My absolute favorite thing is a glass of ice water and we arrived to ice in the freezer and cold glass cups in the freezer…totally made my day! Hot tub was clean and hot. Grocery store is just right down the road. Close to so many excellent attractions. HIGHLY recommend!

#### Beautiful Place to Stay

This was a wonderful place to stay. It was incredibly clean, the king size bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was nicely equipped. Then, of course, there's the view of the lake.We visited when the weather was cool, so we didn't rent a boat. However, the trails at the park were great and were a quick drive from the cottage. We also enjoyed a couple hours in downtown Taylorsville.The owner was responsive to our questions and requests and accommodated us well.We plan to return in the future.
