We had 6 adults and one child. The house fit us comfortably. The location in relation to the fairgrounds is very close. Even to go downtown to activities like the Louisville Slugger museum was only a 10-15 min drive. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe, although you will hear airplanes taking off from the airport. We did have to contact the host due to blowing a breaker while cooking breakfast, but he was easy to reach and great to deal with. The house was equipped with what we needed for our stay. You do not have access to the backyard unless you go out the side door to and enter through a gate. The yard was very nice and inviting as well. Just little inconvenient to utilize. Beds were comfortable, kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry areas were stocked for a short time of toiletries and essentials which was very nice. Host was easy to get ahold of once it was close to reservations time. Very nice and friendly. Would definitely stay with this host and property again. This place was perfectly located about 10 minutes from downtown and about 50 minutes to Bardstown. We split our time between both. When we reported a foul smell they had maintance there the next day. Only reason a 4 star was giving for cleaninless was the fridge was nasty and we had to clean out as well as coffee had been spilt all down the cabinets.
