We were there during a heatwave, and the air conditioning throughout the house worked great. The whole house was well equipped with everything we needed. It was very quiet, too - you couldn't hear people walking upstairs or showers running from the main floor, so it was very peaceful and easy for that many people to be in the house together. Jun 9, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Large house for friends get together The house had 5 bedrooms and 5 full baths (2 ensuite), so it was perfect for our group of 6 friends. The house was clean and well equipped with lots of towels, toiletries, etc. There was a large screen Roku TV in the living room and other TV's located in the bedrooms. The neighborhood was nice and quiet except that the house is in the flight path of the Louisville airport and UPS flys about 300 flights a day into its worldwide hub there. We did not notice the noise that much inside the house, but take note if you are a light sleeper (also take note if you are an airplane spotter). We did not explore the neighborhood on foot, but all the places we went (downtown to the Ali Center, Churchill Downs, restaurants) were only about 10 min away by car. Besides the airplane noise, the only downside of the house is that the wooden floors and stairs are VERY creaky. So, there is no way for an early riser to move about the house without disturbing others, especially if they are light sleepers. Given the age of the house I'm not sure there is any easy solution for this issue. Our group came out ahead at CHD, so that was the cap of a very nice get together. ##### John J. The house was perfect. The location was close to the University and downtown. The house was very well cared for, very clean and very comfortable for 6 middle-aged dudes reliving their glory days. My only "complaint" is that the house is located under the airport flight path but even that wasn't a big issue. Would definitely recommend this place. ##### Lawrence L.
