While not "in town," this was a well priced clean hotel for visiting Boulder. Similar accommodations are much pricier and less available as one gets closer to town.
There is currently road construction on the nearby highway which has closed the hotel's highway exit- so ask the hotel how to work around this or you could get stuck in a traffic jam for 30 mins or more, like we did.
The front desk gave me good direct instruction how to get to the wedding location. She also clasped my bracelet. Then we teased about would I be home by 10:00 and "lights out". The next morning because I serve on our Lodging Tax Board in La Junta, CO I asked the Manager what their lodging tax was and he promptly gave me my bill and showed me how that tax, the City and County, were listed and then compiled to tell me that their tax was 3%. I took this info to our Wednesday the 7th meeting.
(I have already submitted this information to you.)
The weekend stay at this Marriott was excellent. The suite was more than I expected - very clean, well appointed (pots, pans, coffee maker, dishes, etc.), quiet and in a very nice area. Grocery and restaurants in walking distance. The hotel staff were wonderful. The common areas of the hotel were also clean. A very nice large stainless steel gas grill and eating area outside. I would recommend this as an excellent place to stay, especially if you have children (with the separate bedroom). The suites come equipped with a two-burner electric cooktop (space is limited!!) in case you were planning on cooking something extensive.
