This 360 square foot cottage accommodates three guests comfortably. This cottage is walking distance of the Bay where you can find endless trails and places to explore water activities, restaurants, bars and local brew houses. The outside patio is located to the left of the front door and is perfect for enjoying the beautiful weather the Central Coast has to offer. There's even an EV Charger on-site! The Space: DESCRIPTION This amazing property is located in the heart of Baywood, Los Osos. This 360 square foot cottage accommodates three guests comfortably with the consideration of a dog as well. This cottage is within walking distance of the Bay where you can find endless trails and places to explore water activities, restaurants, bars and local brew houses. This cottage has some newly renovated interior that was handcrafted to make your cottage unique and functional. The outside patio is in the middle of cottage 2,3\. Enjoy your dinner outside during sunset under the patio lights and play a game of cards or sit and relax to the calming sounds of the fresh air. If you find yourself wanting to leave your cozy cottage you can travel North towards Morro Bay, Cayucos, Cambria, San Simeon and as far as Big Sur and San Francisco. Traveling South will take you towards San Luis Obispo, Pismo Beach, Avila Beach, Santa Barbra. If you are a wine or beer lover head on over to Paso Robles which is an award wining wine destination!!! You will not be let down by its abundance of wineries, breweries and tasting rooms downtown. (it's about a forty -five minute drive from your cottage.) Parking As our special guest(s) you are granted one off-street parking space on the property. Parking is straight towards the back of the driveway entry. Please be courteous of the neighboring vehicles and space around you as there is only one way for egress. If you have more than one vehicle please park the second vehicle on the street (free of charge). The Neighborhood: Neighborhood Notes (please refer to the binder located inside the cottage for more detailed information on local activities and restaurants.) Baywood offers a variety of activities during the year; including free live music and entertainment in some places. Come take advantage of our safe, social events and bring the whole family! Farmers Market- On Mondays from 2pm-4:30pm you can explore Farmers Market and shop from your favorite local produce and shops. Sea Pines Golf Course- Sea Pines offers free live music outside for families and children on Saturdays. Bring your own lawn chair or set up "picnic style" while you enjoy food and beverages from the bar. Often times there will be bounce houses and slides for children as well. Montana De Oro State Park\\- Take a short drive towards the beach! Once entering the state park you will have trails, coves, beaches and peaks to explore. There is a trail/walk for everyone at every level. Elfin Forest\\- Is adjacent to the Morro Bay estuary. The Elfin Forest is known for its pygmy oaks, seabirds and coastal panoramas.This board walk style loop makes it convenient for those traveling with dogs or children. Los Osos gets limited service from Lyft, Uber and taxi services due to location in a semi remote area. Sorry for any inconvenience. Please plan accordingly. Baywood is a charming small beach community that sits right on the back bay. It has great spots to eat and hang out and is close to San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay, Cayucos, Cambria and more! Please take a look at our Guidebook for suggestions and let us know if you have anything in particular that you're looking to do! Kayaking, paddle boarding, surfing, the spa, bars, etc! There is a laundromat onsite that locals use regularly throughout the day. Please be mindful of their presence. These machines take coins but are not up to date. The public is welcome to use them as well as Baywood Cottage guests. Please keep in mind that Baywood Cottage is located across the street from a mobile home park. This space is occupied by families and children so please be respectful with noise and activity. Thank you for understanding. Getting Around: Everything you need is within walking distance or a short drive. Please take into consideration that Uber, Lyft and taxi's have limited availability due to location in a semi remote area. Other Things to Note: \*All bookings are required to agree to our rental agreement terms prior to check-in. A copy will be provided upon reservation confirmation. Also, payment processing fess are non-refundable. DOG POLICY: This property is dog friendly. There is an additional pet stay fee of $100 for booking with a dog. (Low shedding dogs under 50 pounds are allowed, dogs over 50 lbs with low shedding will be considered on a case by case basis.) If you are considering bringing your furry family member, please let the host know when you book. Thank you! \*Pet must be 12 mo. or older \*Pets must not be left unattended at anytime during your visit (even if outside) \*Pets must be kept off of the furniture -- please bring suitable bedding \*Pets must be free of fleas and up to date on a flea control treatment \*Pets are required to have all current vaccinations (Parvo) \*We require all pet poop to be thoroughly cleaned up around the property. \*If there is damage to furniture, property, or left over pet waste due to your dog, there will be an extra $150 charge added at check out, along with additional charges for any other damages. Big enough for all we needed, cute kitchenette where we fixed breakfast each day. Walking distance to several places and Monday farmers market. Quiet area, no loud noises while we were there. This will be our new go-to for our stays. But the best part were my accommodations. Love this charming cottage. So comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. Walking distance from the bay and shops and restaurants. We enjoyed great Thai food, live music at the Merrymaker bar and beautiful walks along the bay. The accommodations were clean, spacious enough for 2 adults and a small dog. The studio is steps from the end of the bay, and short drive to beaches and parks. The whole area is dog and family friendly. People are very friendly-good conversation wherever we went. We had a great time. Particularly loved off-leach beaches!! The unit was spotlessly clean; the rental agency responsive. Parking and EV charger adjacent to the unit. Only negative is seating could be more comfortable when it’s too cold and foggy to be outside in the evening. Otherwise highly recommend. ##### Jean K. It was clean, comfortable and in a great location. The units appear to have been renovated in the recent past and have good lighting and fresh finishes. My only critique is that the kitchen and cooking equipment is a bit on the sparse side and minimal. If one likes to prep meals its a bit limiting. The addition of a cast-iron skillet would be a big plus. The non-stick cooking utensils are a bit worn with the non-stick deteriorating. A second cutting board would also be greatly appreciated. The cottages are well-provisioned, easily accommodating three people each. A full kitchen, bathroom with shower, and a lovely patio is part of each cottage. Within walking distance are a park, a beach, a small grocery store, several restaurants and shops, and a laundromat. Nearby recreation includes hiking, kayaking, and beaches. We have an electric vehicle and there are two new charging stations since the last time we stayed at one of the cottages. This made it easy to get to places nearby like: Montano de Oro, Cambria, Paso Robles for some wine tasting, and of course Morro Bay. The cottage had everything we needed coffee, creamer. It is a cottage, so it was small, but absolutely perfect for my needs. I found the property quite easily and really appreciated the dedicated parking for the unit I was using. Check in process was seamless. The host communicated all details in a timely fashion, and accessing the property was easy. The neighborhood was very nice with restaurants within walking distance.
