NIce, clean motel

Pros: Inexpensive for the area, and nice rooms
Cons: Short stay, so not much to rate.
Location: Business trip. No time to check out the area.
Room was large and quite comfortable. Was much better than a 2 star motel. Would use it again.

Not up to its usual

Pros: The price...so we got what we paid for.
Cons: Needs renovation
Location: In Torrance, so it allowed us to go south to Long Beach and San Juan Capistrano as easily as to LA museums...right in between.
We've stayed there before and thought it was a good value. This time, the room we had was pretty rough. Clean but pretty worn out.

Older, not very clean hotel

Pros: The location was great for getting to the places we wanted to visit.
Cons: Clean the rugs and the bedding!
Location: Near Wilson Park and the newly remodeled Del Amo mall. Not too far from Redondo Beach and other attractions in the South Bay.
Rugs were dirty so we had muddy foot prints in the tub and on the bathroom floor when we showered. The first day the water was barely warm in the shower and sink. After that the water did get hot enough. The breakfast was set out in the lobby. We were told to bring the little tray from under the ice bucket so we could carry the food back to our room. One day we were taking a nap in the afternoon. The phone rang twice waking us up. Then a woman and man knocked at the door. The woman kept saying in broken English that she had called. She wanted to show the room to the man who she said was an architect. He needed to take measurements in the bathroom for some reason. The bed was old and uncomfortable.

Giusto rapporto di prezzo ... Sono motel un po datati ma ben gestiti personale grazioso colazione inclusa.

Unexpectedly Favorable

This lodge turned out to be one of my best stays. I stayed in Torrance, CA for my birthday weekend with 2 friends and when we arrived the hotel staff was exceptionally nice. I booked a smoking room and when I got there they told me there were only 2 smoking rooms and the people who were staying in them never left. He then put us in Room 225 where we were very pleased with the condition but the next morning when we woke up the hot water was not working. After complaining to the front desk, Jenny came and checked the water to verify it wasn't working. We were then moved to 212 without any hassle. They told us anything we needed they will provide. Everything was ok after these issues were handled. We stayed for 5 days in total. On the 3rd day I recommended our lodge to 2 other friends who also came to visit and they put them in Room 225! When we noticed they were in the same room we had the problem in, my friend discovered the hot water did work, they just installed the handles incorrectly. Overall, it was a great stay afer a few bumps in the beginning but it was worth it. They give you plenty of supplies and free breakfast is included. The wifi is free and the lodge itself is near many food places and about 20-30 minutes from all attractions. Because they are so willing to accomodate you until you are comfortable, I give this lodge 4 stars !

Awful night

Strange smells, no hot water for my shower, cigarette burns in blanket even though it is non smoking room, constant clicking noise from bathroom, questionnable people staying in other rooms who were partying and vomitting late at night, police cars arresting people across the street
