Nice small boutique hotel

It felt nice but the vibe was a bit off. The staff was adequate but seemed off. Nice but not very helpful. My room had a bit of a funky smell.

Secret Hideaway

Posted 17-Mar-2016
I don't know how I had never found this hotel on previous trips! It's in the middle of a neighborhood, so it's off the noisy streets but still walking distance to bars, coffee, restaurants, etc. I had late afternoon snacks and dinner at the rooftop restaurant. Everything beat my expectations. The pool and rooftop garden are gorgeous and have a 360 view of the city and hills. The restaurant and pool are for guests only, so there aren't a bunch of random people traipsing around. Oh and the shower water pressure is amazing. I will be back! The only complaints I had was that my room wasn't ready until after the check-in time. I asked to be notified when it was ready and no one bothered to call me. They labeled my bag to be taken to another room 2 floors up, so I had to go track it down. The backlights were out on the tv, so I didn't catch the morning news and when I mentioned this on check-out the desk person didn't seem to care enough that it would be fixed for the next guest. I would have rated this hotel 5 stars if it weren't for gaps in service by the front desk.

Hidden Gem in LA

Posted 6-Mar-2016
This hotel was a very nice surprise. Big suites with a fireplace, great water pressure/ hot water in the shower, and oh, the sheets. The rooftop was fantastic with a restaurant in the garden, fire deck (excellent and cozy place to do work), and pool. I was lucky enough to catch the jazz band on Saturday night, and they were very talented and innovative. I could not have been happier with this hotel!!

Cozy and charming

Posted 7-Feb-2016
Pros: Loved the rooftop bar, lounge and pool area.
Cons: Did not Love trying to sleep right below the rooftop bar, lounge and pool area... I'm a bit of a light sleeper.
Location: Within walking distance of the Sunset Strip and Santa Monica Blvd, or a short Uber ride to Hollywood.
The room was lovely, staff very pleasant, and it all had a very exclusive feel. You get the sense that Hollywood deals happen here. Room was large with a comfortable queen bed, the bath a bit small (but powerful water pressure). It had a cozy sitting area with a fireplace, a view of the fabulous homes up on the hills, and fairly quick room service.

Romantisk spot i West Hollywood

Posted 28-Jan-2016 on Hotels

You would never know you're a block away from Santa Monica Blvd. The roof restaurant is the best! Beautiful breakfast buffett. Roof deck/pool is spectacular. Staff is very friendly, helpful. Love this place.
