Cozy and charming

Posted 7-Feb-2016
Pros: Loved the rooftop bar, lounge and pool area.
Cons: Did not Love trying to sleep right below the rooftop bar, lounge and pool area... I'm a bit of a light sleeper.
Location: Within walking distance of the Sunset Strip and Santa Monica Blvd, or a short Uber ride to Hollywood.
The room was lovely, staff very pleasant, and it all had a very exclusive feel. You get the sense that Hollywood deals happen here. Room was large with a comfortable queen bed, the bath a bit small (but powerful water pressure). It had a cozy sitting area with a fireplace, a view of the fabulous homes up on the hills, and fairly quick room service.

Great location and very cool rooftop top lounge and pool for guests. Rooms a little dated.

Luxury in a fantastic location

Posted 27-Jan-2016
This is one of the sweetest places I've ever stayed. In a great location, thoughtful luxury, enthusiastic staff, great food, fantastic roof deck/pool. What's not to like?!

Great place

You would never know you're a block away from Santa Monica Blvd. The roof restaurant is the best! Beautiful breakfast buffett. Roof deck/pool is spectacular. Staff is very friendly, helpful. Love this place.

hotel tucked away in WeHo neighborhood

Posted 15-Jan-2016
Pros: friendly staff
Cons: coffee available for everyone without having to go to the restaurant
Location: weho heaven - so gay bars great; sunset strip great
this is stylish converted apartment building. staff very friendly. my first room was okay, but not great, just too small for my needs. i mentioned this on social media (not to the staff, as i was very busy) and the manager sought me out and moved me to a bigger room. note that each room has different sorts of amenities: one room had a small kitchen sink and coffee machine; while another room had neither of those. restaurant on roof is fun and good food.

It's like a Wes Anderson Movie— in a good way

Posted 15-Dec-2015
Pros: The roof deck and the restaurant up there is great. Good location, quiet, but close to stuff.
Cons: The gym. And the internet is a little slow.
Location: I had meetings in Beverly Hills and Hollywood mostly during this trip- both are close. Nice, convenient, residential spot, near lots of stuff.
I had a great time here. The people were friendly and helpful, the food was good, the decor was cool and the overall aesthetic just really different and not like a hotel. I felt a little like I had joined a very laid-back European circus in New Orleans. The "gym" is just awful, it's not really a gym at all, but my room was great, the pool is great, the roof-deck is amazing and you just had to feel super trendy without feeling stressed about it. All good vibes.

Perfect LA experience

Posted 30-Nov-2015
Petite Ermitage provided the quintessential LA experience. Private rooftop pool, bar and restaurant, yoga in the mornings, outdoor cinema screenings at night. Amazing interiors that could be out of a film set with relentless attention to detail. The West Hollywood location was great too. I will stay here again.

Thanksgiving in a basement dungeon

Posted 29-Nov-2015
Location: Good location for Weho.
My room was literally below ground, with only one window which got no light bc Room 106 is literally below ground. Talk about claustrophobic. The bed was hard and tilted down towards your feet. The carpet was dingy and dirty. I just wanted to escape from this supposed 4 star hotel. Misery.

Not worth $350 usd per night..

Posted 26-Nov-2015
We stayed for one night after a 18hour long trip back from Asia. It took them 40 min to get our luggage to our room, power went up and down, hotel staff not professional enough took them several minutes to answer the phone and we where greeted at check-in after waiting for 10+ min, it was a Friday night so we could hear noises from the hotel terrace and could barely get some rest, overall not worth the $350 usd p/night

Very nice hotel

Posted 24-Nov-2015
Pros: Nice staff, liked the rooms, close to Beverly Hills
Cons: Would like complimentary coffee in the rooms. 5.00 cups are a bit pricey
Very nice hotel. We only stayed 1 night and already had dinner plans so we didn't get to enjoy the rooftop bar and pool but did take a trip up there earlier in the day to check it out and it seemed very nice. Nice big rooms and comfortable beds. Staff was very pleasant
