There is nothing wrong with this hotel. It is perfectly clean, and the rooms are decent. My disappointment lies with the views. My boyfriend and I booked an Executive Suite for quite a lot of money and chose this room over one of the lesser rooms because of its "unparalleled views of Hollywood" that were advertised on the hotel's website. When we got to our room on the second floor and looked out each of the two windows, however, all we could see was the back of (quite an ugly) apartment building. We tried to call downstairs to confirm that we were in the right room, but the phone was completely broken. When we did stop by the front desk on our way out to dinner, we were told that the hotel was completely sold out and that this was the highest room available. We were offered a $10 bottle of wine for our troubles. When we checked out the next day, I informed the manager of our disappointment with the hotel, to which she told us that the hotel does not actually offer any views, apart from that of the rooftop pool, despite what its website claimed. We explained that we refused the wine the evening before and asked that she not charge us the exorbitant $39 overnight parking fee, which she indeed dropped. Definitely would not stay here again and deplore the false advertising of the website.
