We booked what was advertised as a luxury penthouse in Long Beach and instead arrived to a unit in serious disrepair. One bedroom was rendered unusable due to a leaking roof that flooded the room, bathroom doors would not close (eliminating privacy), and there were visible holes in the walls.Maintenance was outsourced and issues were not resolved in a timely or effective manner. We unknowingly entered into a rental that clearly required major repairs, which caused significant disruption to our stay and raised health and safety concerns.This was not what was promised or paid for. All of this should have been detailed clearly within check in instructions. There is a separate pass from the building front entrance than the key required for elevator or access to the unit. In addition parking is mentioned as available on the listing but no effort was made to let us know what parking spot number or how many sports (there is one). The views as you walk in were breathtakingly lovely. We all marveled at the floor to ceiling view. It was a great start to our trip and no other property matched it. Great memories were made in this home. The only improvement we would suggest is higher couches and seating in the living room area.
