The service was excellent. I’m not going to lie, when I saw it from the outside I was disappointed but the inside is really clean, it was quiet, there are stores near by, you can walk to the beach and many other places. I do recommend it a lot!

Convenient location, inexpensive. However, the property needed a little tender loving care. Traffic cones in front of the office door didn't create a particularly welcoming atmosphere.

Excellent Long Beach bus very close by as are good restuarants like Sushi Mafia. Vons is across the street, so you can take advantage of the microwave and refrigerator. Everything is close and convienient. David behind the desk is very helpful. Great place!

At one time this may have been a nice motel but no longer! Run-down and obviously catering to a unpleasant clientele - we had people next door partying all night! We had booked multiple nights but moved out after 2.

The staff was great. Shopping across the street and many restaurants near (within 10 minutes of walking). Other guests staying were very loud and yelling. There were cockroaches but no bed bugs and my TV didn't work. On our walk to dinner a homeless man was urinating in the street and no one seemed care. There was human feces on the streets, but apparently this is normal behavior in southern California.

Yes the place is old and that was expected. But what isn’t expected is the dirtiness of the room. If the sheets didn’t smell like bleach not sure I’d have felt comfortable to sleep in the bed. But it met our needs only to sleep.

Do not think of staying here. This is a hotel that should rent by the hour as it’s not a place any one looking for a travel accommodation would consider if advertised as what it truly is. Even the pool screams do not come in here.

The stay was great. i had no problems. Location was perfect for convention center. Neighborhood seemed safe enough for walking The Vons store across the street was AWESOME. The restaurant across the street was a bit loud but did not bother me. Family members would not have liked this, though, had it been a vacation stay. The only facility problem was a very week floor in the center of the room near the desk. Nice tile floor was place on top of what seemed to be rotting boards. Floor board below should probably be replaced. Room also had a smell consistent with prior smoking. However I could open a secure balcony door and get fresh air. Would have been have had a secondary chain or stop on the outside opening door for security, too. Great price compared to the other hotels nearby. Bring your own soaps and coffee mugs.

Do not book this place unless you don’t care about your safety. It’s a dump and probably gets rented by the hour. I was so disgusted that I didn't stay and I went and booked another hotel.

Location is perfect! The floor wasn’t mopped so I had all types of trash stuck to my feet. There was also a lot of dust on the furniture which made my allergies worse and I couldn’t breathe through my nose. They will call you and come knocking on your door to rush you out at 9am. You really get what you paid for here

I will never return to this property. The smoke free room was not, its so penetrated that we did not last 2 minutes inside. The bedsheets had cigarette burns, dirty bathroom. Our chest and throat began hurting, worst experience ever.

Paid for the evening here and they did not allow me to check in. The person at the desk was completely rude and dismissive just walked away yelling and didn't care to spend their time to speak to me. I had to go elsewhere and was unable to receive a refund from them.

We went to bed, and I saw bugs crawling on my husband's pillow. We killed it then pulled the sheets and mattress cover back and saw more bugs. I called the office, and the lady came to the room and took pictures of the bugs. She said her manager never believes there are bed bugs. She moved us to another room. We will never stay there again.

The hotel room was inexpensive and conveniently located near the Long Beach convention center. The rooms were clean but this a smoking hotel. The rooms smelled like cigarette smoke and pot. The staff was nice enough to spray the room with fragrant spray but it did not last long. The bed was too soft and caused a sore back. The night club across the street was loud so try not to get a room facing it. Overall the stay was okay for a 1 - 2 star hotel.

The property should be taken over by a different management/investment group. Good location but the property is wide open for anyone to walk in from the outside which has plenty of homeless, criminals and other up to no good individuals. Upon checking in I heard a girl in the lobby talking to the management because someone has broken into her room and stole her money and belongings. This didn’t seem like a shocker to the employees. Property itself was in a horrible absolutely unsanitary state to be renting rooms out. I’m shocked and appalled that it’s up and running. The ceiling in the bathroom was rotted out and was falling down. The cleanliness of the bathroom was not existent. Honestly this property should be visited by the county health department. We had what appears to be an old blood stain on the lamp shade that wasn’t cleaned rather just smeared, along with writings with a pencil where one said RIP. Wall had streaks of dirt down the walls and patched up holes in the wall that were never painted over. We kindly asked for a refund and upon stating in what state was the room we were given the full refund. The manager was very well aware of the condition of the property. Therefore, he was kind enough not to argue with us.

We booked the hotel because it had a pool and jacuzzi. The pool was green and the jacuzzi was broken. Lots of people on drugs screaming in the neighborhood.

This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had in a motel. Although the desk clerk was friendly, the condition of the room was so bad, that we left after two hours. Fortunately we were able to get a refund through Travelocity! This motel should have negative 10 stars for a rating! Being a basic motel shouldn’t mean that it’s filthy!

Room was decent, motel style. The a/c worked well (80 F weather). Floor was initially not cleaned, but they got it during the 2nd day refresh cleaning.

The host during check in was very pleasant and helpful. Free parking at the hotel was great. However the property had not been maintained. The walk to the room was past the dumpster and through not well maintained cinder block hall. The room smelled strongly of vinegar and cleaning product. The room itself was in need of update, but clean, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. The AC functioned, but had not been maintained and did not blow clean air into the room. The bathroom was updated, but the shower could not be turned on. Any more force would have broken the plastic knob. Would not return.
