Great stay for going to the Wiltern that night. Check in staff seemed like we were an inconvenience to help but everyone else staff wise that we met was great.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
Please do not stay here! Over priced and there was a cockroach in our room and it got into my luggage and I didn’t even know until I got home!!! The rooms smells nasty as soon as you walk in, and the carpet is dirty! Charged us parking PER DAY! When we’ve stayed here before we were never charged. Over all I would never stay here again I rather stay at a nice hotel that actually cares about the cleanliness of their establishment.

Noisy motel, filthy carpet in rooms, parking was extra and very challenging. They overbooked the parking lot and I didn't have a spot on my 2nd night. I would not stay here again.

I liked just about everything about this hotel. The only thing I wish they had was a coffee maker in the room. Every morning I had to walk about 2 blocks to buy coffee. Other than that, nice room and staff.

NO COFFEE 😤😡☕️. FULL PRICE, for a 1.5 star MOTEL
We spent good money, to stay here...and we was happy with the r0om location. The problem is, this HOTEL should have COFFEE AND MICROWAVES IN THE ROOM, and CONTINENTAL breakfasts. They didn't even have coffee at the front desk. They said the cups haven't been delivered from their supplier, and basically...OH WELL...was the attitude. They are clearly trying to save money..by NO coffee in the rooms and NO microwave. They MUST put this in their adds. It is a enclosed, semi nice spot, in the middle of what feels like a homeless area. Cigarette burns everywhere in the room. Tiny spiders crawling through your belongings. Old Towels that need to be thrown out, and new ones bought. Parking is tight. They are barely a 2 star hotel, just 1 notch above a roadside MOTEL. NO COFFEE in the room! come on OWNERSHIP of HOLLYWOOD INN SOUTH... Don't be so cheap...put COFFEE MAKERS back in the rooms and offer a continental breakfast.

This place is really old. You can smell the old carpet the instant you enter the room. The area is unsafe, a homeless throw a rock on our rented van while entering the premises. Dirty all around and microwave area is weird. They can’t even store your luggages when you have a later flight like other hotels/Inns. Not worth the price. Avoid this property. Sorry not sorry.

OK. I would go back have recommendations.
Parking spaces should be assigned vis room number. Parking late at night is a pain. Three queen beds was great for 3 friends. Room service was spotty. I asked the first day and go some service later in the day. I got none for a few days and finally asked why when I had asked. I was told you had to ask for it each day you stayed if you wanted it. The staff was mostly helpful. Some were not overtly helpful, but none were rude. The location was close to everything. The area was not great..i.e. a mile from the biggest homeless shelter I had ever seen, but staff patrolled all night, and I never felt threatened going to the car in the middle of the night. yhe pool was small, but clean. I wished they had more than three chairs. (there were three adults in my party) I would stay there again with friends, but not with children.

I read the reviews before booking this room and literally all the complains were ridiculous. Ooh no 5 course meal for breakfast. The people were so sweet. There is a $100 deposit when you check in but you get it back when you check out. Plenty of room for my family during our travels. My only complaint is that they only allow I vehicle per room because the parking lot is so small. There was another guest checking in at the same time and didn't have a vehicle so she let us use her parking spot ❤️ I would give my visit to Hollywood inn South a 9/10
