Very nice hotel centrally located!

Posted 23-Aug-2016
Pros: The staff was very nice. The room was modern and the hotel offered many amenities such as pool, bar/lounge, computer access, fitness center, etc.
Cons: Bathrooms are very small.
Location: Lots to do in the surrounding area. Very close to downtown, the outlet malls and many restaurants.
Very nice experience. Hotel was clean and modern and offered many amenities. Centrally located for convenience.

Very nice hotel

Posted 12-Aug-2016
Pros: Everything--the staff, the dining, the pool, convenient parking, privacy--everything.
Cons: You seem to have everything covered.
Location: Close to the airport--a huge plus.
The hotel is clean, the staff are wonderful, the chef is excellent, and the hotel is about 5 to 10 minutes from the airport in Long Beach. Since we were in town for a stressful situation, the hotel stay made things easier for us. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if the need arises.

We paid for a room on the tower, we were given a room on the west wing, motel looking building and room, we were giving a room with boarding room people, very noisy and not clean. We lowered going out and stumbled upon a working girl dressed like a stipper walking to her car. The lady at the front desk was so rude, refused to check us in because I was already in the room and my husband still at the front desk and demanded my ID, she also sent someone to take our luggage out as I was asleep in the room. Luckily my husband caught her on his way back from front desk. Horrible experience. And the rooms on the west wing are by the highway side and so noisy.

Enjoyable stay!

Posted 14-Jul-2016
Pros: Loved having a fridge & free wi-fi.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. There were a couple of glitches that were fixed ASAP! Safe was locked & coffee maker wasn't working. Maintenance man was there within the hour to unlock safe & I had a new coffee maker by the time I got back in the evening. When I returned each day the room was made-up beautifully. Coffee shop very accommodating when my coffee maker wasn't working. Lounge & restaurant service good.

Nice hotel very close to the Long Beach airport.

Location: Go to Baha Sanora for great Mexican food nearby.
I like booking with Expedia vs other websites because they spell out all the likely charges-- parking, resort fees, etc..

Blindsided

Posted 31-May-2016 on Hotels
We chose the hotel because we needed one with a fridge for my son's milk. For Memorial Day weekend it was a fair price and we thought we we're getting a deal. Little did we know this hotel has a west wing where they put all the travel site bookings that is outside of the main building. The sink took long to drain. There was no fridge. No microwave. The ice machines didn't work outside. Everytime I went to feel up a bad with ice in the main building I kept getting asked if I was a guest there. I had to show my room card several times. They also don't have an elevator for the outside wing. We originally checked to have a queen bed while we booked and the front desk said that it is never guaranteed when we book through hotel.com. They said that we only get what's available and not what we select. If I would have known this I would have selected the days inn down the street for a lower price, with a fridge and the same quality room we got. The real disappointment about this booking is that we thought we were getting everything we asked for. But we didn't. I have stay at lower quality hotels but this made me feel like I was blind sided.
