We paid for a room on the tower, we were given a room on the west wing, motel looking building and room, we were giving a room with boarding room people, very noisy and not clean. We lowered going out and stumbled upon a working girl dressed like a stipper walking to her car. The lady at the front desk was so rude, refused to check us in because I was already in the room and my husband still at the front desk and demanded my ID, she also sent someone to take our luggage out as I was asleep in the room. Luckily my husband caught her on his way back from front desk. Horrible experience. And the rooms on the west wing are by the highway side and so noisy.

Enjoyable stay!

Pros: Loved having a fridge & free wi-fi.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. There were a couple of glitches that were fixed ASAP! Safe was locked & coffee maker wasn't working. Maintenance man was there within the hour to unlock safe & I had a new coffee maker by the time I got back in the evening. When I returned each day the room was made-up beautifully. Coffee shop very accommodating when my coffee maker wasn't working. Lounge & restaurant service good.

Location: Go to Baha Sanora for great Mexican food nearby.
I like booking with Expedia vs other websites because they spell out all the likely charges-- parking, resort fees, etc..

Prefer Old Configuration

Pros: Proximity to my office and the staff is pleasant
I actually preferred the sliding glass doors to the deck for each room. Replacing the doors seems to close off the room in my opinion. With the renovation of the rooms and the lobby, prices have raised which has caused my firm to look elsewhere for accommodations.

Best stay in Long Beach so far

I read different reviews after paying for my 4 night stay. I was really regretting the fact that it was non refundable, but from beginning to the end the experience was great. We received a renovated room, and it was really quiet. The staff was really nice and helpful. The beach was 15 minutes away and lots of restaurants within 5 minutes. Good if you enjoy having a few drinks and don't Ike paying a lot for a cab. I will definitely be staying here again. Our room was on the 10th floor in the tower.

Ok if room is less than $125

Hotel was ok but not as nice as I thought it would be. Convenient to airport and downtown Long Beach though
