There were15 steps to the staircase, then down 16 stairs, and then a block and a half to the ramp to the beach! Second: The picture in the ad was of the FRONT duplex! The apartment we were given was behind the duplex, and over the garages that belonged to someone else. (We were required to park with the passenger side of our car up against a wall next to the garages. My husband had to move the car before I could get in or out.)Third: The kitchen had ants. We discovered them the first day. We found ant traps under the sink, so this was not a new problem. You couldn't leave anything out on a countertop.I believed I had booked a cozy place right across from the beach. If I stood on my toes, and looked out the upper right corner of the bedroom window, I could make out a small rectangular ocean view. The ad was absolutely misleading. Since I was on crutches and in a walking boot, I would never have booked this property had I known it required steps to a 2nd-floor entry. Aside from the ants, the interior was clean and adequate. Close to the beach and restaurants. Cute place and had what we needed. Couple things we had issues with. It was very hard to get responses from the host. We got details to enter property past the check in time and that was with reminders. Also there was an ant issue in the kitchen. Do not leave food of any kind on counters.
