The property met our needs (three adults and an almost teenager). Everything was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and nice to walk in, especially towards the Bungalow Heaven neighborhood. There are lots of food options nearby that are walkable. It was in a great location (in our opinion) to visit Hollywood, Long Beach, Simi Valley and Huntington Beach. Excellent communication with the host. Great proximity to Caltech well as many restaurants and shopping. Check in was simple with the key box, loved the privacy/security gate for the guest house as we had two cars full of luggage and dorm items. Great outdoor space, laundry, well appointed modern kitchen, toiletries and very comfy beds. Nice touch with the coffee syrups and beans set up in the kitchen. Gloria was so hospitable and even helped us take delivery of a pretty heavy shipment from Amazon prior to our arrival. So when we decided on a shirt visit, location was a consideration. As soon as we checked in (very easy, the instructions were very good) we put on our shoes and took a walk. What a day we picked, jasmine in full heady bloom, roses at their peak and jacaranda trees all decked in purple! Perfect location for walking to Colorado Blvd and Old Town. The next day I dipped my kids over to a universal Studios...it took less than 20 minutes. The little cottage is lovely. Well appointed, bright and clean and with the outside space it felt roomy. All the media one could want. The local places info binder would be a great help to anyone unfamiliar with the area, but for us it was a stroll down memory lane! This location would be great for attending the Tournament of Roses Parade or game. Pasadena has easy access to so much with the 210 and the 134 very close by. We'd stay here again with no hesitation.
