Convenient location for visiting local colleges

Posted 24-Aug-2015
Pros: Convenience.
Cons: It is an older hotel, but it was clean and we felt safe.
We visited several colleges and this hotel was very convenient to those near downtown and those near the coast.

Excellent hotel, Close by to freeways

Posted 10-Aug-2015
Pros: Spacious room, hot breakfast, swimming pool, hot tub, free wifi
Cons: Elevators (slow) although there is only 3 floors, breakfast since its served in the lobby area, with a great full hot breakfast need more room & table
Location: Restaurants across the street without having to drive, Culver mall which isn't far from the hotel
You think, "Inglewood" and probably think, oh it's a bad area, but the location/area of the hotel is not bad at all, there's a restaurant across the street, gas station, other close by restaurants, very convenient for those who are not familiar with the area (like me),. I booked a King size room, very spacious, great hot breakfast, (waffles, eggs, boiled eggs, yogurt, coffee, juice, fruits, pastries)

Near airport but that's it

had to check in late and leave very early but fortunately, our stay was limited because the room was not up to the normal standard of Best Western hotels, staff seemed to care less about guest presence, and although the hotel can never determine the nature and behaviour of other guests, this is not a hotel for families!

Fantastic. Will stay here again.

Pros: The front desk staff. the night front desk guy was an absolute gem!
Staff were wonderful and very helpful. When we arrived we were tired and hungry and the guy on the front desk organsied some Indian food to be delivered while we were unpacking the car. The rooms are very spacious and well kept. Beds were comfortable. The pool was a great place relax while waiting for our afternoon flight home. I will definitely stay here again next time im transiting though LAX.

Not happy...

Posted 28-Jul-2015
I stayed one night in what was suppose to be a non-smoking room. The smell of cigarette smoke was so thick and did not get any better even though the room window was left open, obviously in an attempt to get rid of the smell. The carpet had a large dark area that was stained. There were also 2 partially empty soda bottles on the floor underneath the linen at the foot of the bed. My room was on the Manchester side and I could hear every vehicle that passed. The room above mine was very noisy up until about 3:30 in the morning. I had to take something to help me sleep because of the noise from upstairs, the street noise and the smell of the room. Also, the air conditioning stuck on a very low setting and seemed to not work property. This was not an enjoyable stay at all. I got in to my room at about 10:30 after driving in from Las Vegas. I had an important business day ahead of me...I was tired and didn't have the energy to lug my things back down from the third floor and request to be relocated into another room.

Good for a quick overnight stay, close to airport.

Pros: Friendly, accommodating staff. Clean, comfortable rooms. Close proximity to The Forum and airport.
Cons: TINY parking stalls, and a full-time security guard in the lot (they may have one at night, but I never saw one). Very small breakfast area in lobby.
Location: Near The Forum, Airport
My wife and I chose this hotel specifically because of its close proximity to The Forum- literally down the street. The staff was very nice and accommodating, we needed more towels and they were quickly delivered. The hotel is right on the street so it can be noisy in the room at times, but we used the A/C which drowned out the noise at night. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. Adequate TV and amenities. By far, my main concern was the parking situation. The parking lot is awkward and the stalls are WAY too small. I have a nicer car and I was worried about it during my entire stay. I chose one of the farthest-away stalls and prayed no one parked next to me- there was barely any room to open the doors to get in/out if someone did. In addition, there were several suspicious people hanging out in their car/smoking/wandering around when we arrived, and after a short while when we were leaving we saw cigarette butts on the roof of a car and there was coffee (purposely) splashed on the window of another. The hotel has some small cameras above the lot but they could really use a full-time security guard walking the lot to make sure these kinds of things don't happen. So if you are looking for a quick overnight stay before/after a flight and need a comfortable place to crash, I would recommend this hotel. But if you are staying for more than one night and particularly if you have a nicer car, I'd recommend looking elsewhere, even if it means you have to drive a little longer.

Motel in Flughafennähe

Posted 21-Jul-2015
