Had very good stay. Place is quiet, clean, comfortable.
Michael, the property manager pleasant and is always available for any question you may have.
Felt safe, with parking space and hotel amenities complementing my stay in LA.
The hotel is nice, but the surrounding neighborhood is not. Do not pay for parking, because we had no problem parking on the street. My major complaint is that you have to pay a 100 dollar per night incidental deposit up front. Therefore, if you stay a week, then that is 700 dollars! Cleaning service is once a week. Make sure you buy things like toilet paper, paper towels, etc.
Everything we needed to get our vacation going was there when we got to the place. Great space for cooking and dining and entertaining. Had a really fun time and the location was perfect. 5 minutes from Venice beach (driving). Definitely worth it! Id do it again.
"Nice hotel close to the Grove and to most audition"
Overall good experience with a few minor negatives. The self check in was not the greatest experience since you could not access the elevators without waiting for someone who already lived there to let you in. Once in, it was perfect for us because we had our own parking spot in a garage, walking distance to the grove and relatively close to everything we needed including for audition locations. Very quiet in the building as well so we were able to get great sleep each night. On a negative side, the sheets did not appear to be washed but instead smelled and looked like a cleaner was sprayed on the pillow cases and the dishes/pots/pans were dirty yet put away as though they were clean. Once we washed the sheets and cleaned the dishes, all was great. I would stay here again because the things I'm complaining about were easily fixable and overall it was still a nice place and very convenient.
Not sure if this is really a hotel or maybe they rent individual apartments out as hotels? From what we could tell, they didn't seem to have any staff we could speak to about issues we came across other than the parking attendant that checked us in when we arrived, who met us in an alley and gave us our room and garage access keys and took my cc to charge me for parking, I wasn't comfortable with a random stranger charging my card with his cell phone but ok? The room was really nice, full kitchen, small living room and nice bathroom with a separate bedroom. We have two young children so we requested an air mattress before hand for the kids. The bedroom did not have a tv in it so we ended up letting the kids sleep in the bed and my husband and I took the air mattress in the living room so we could watch tv after they went to bed. The mattress did not hold air what so ever. We spent half the night trying to refill the mattress until we finally gave up and tried squeezing all four of us in 1 queen bed.. worst night sleep in a hotel ever. At about 4:30 pm we went down to speak to the people at the "front desk" to ask a question about the room and the two guys that were sitting there chatting amongst themselves, told us we had to call the number that we booked the room with because they were only security. The room was missing a few basic amenities, washcloths, lotion, towels seems pretty old. The bathroom sink faucet was barely hanging on.
