Roof top pòl was great. We swam for an hour in cooler temperatures, but then we are Canadians used to swimming in 70 degree temps. Good Fun. We wish the pool bar was open at the time we were at the hotel.

When I first arrived at this hotel, it was rainy. So the door man told us to follow the valet parking sign. The sign led us to very unclean parking lot that I saw lot’s of laundry containers with used towels. Also, no one helped us unloading our baggages. So we needed to try to find out where is ramp to enter the hotel since we had a stroller. This is the first and worst experience I have ever had among so many hotels in the world. They didn’t provide any room amenities. I found several hairs in the towels, and they didn’t clean my room when I came back at night. I complained but the front desk staff said just “I’m sorry.” That’s it. I’m so disappointed with this hotel.

This is the infamous Continental Hyatt House rock hotel without the motorcycles in the hallways. We reserved a room with two queen beds and Sunset Boulevard view for $489 per night, but no such room was available when we arrived. Instead we were given a smaller room with two queen beds and Hollywood Hills view which was available at the time of our arrival for $365 per night. Rather than charging us the fair price for the room we were given, the hotel charged us the full price of the room we originally reserved but were not given. This is a classic bait-and-switch scam. Expedia should not be allowed to sell room reservations based on specific options if they cannot guarantee they will be honored upon arrival.
