Very beautiful hotel loved the room pools a little shallow staff was courteous and helpful veey convenient downtown location very walkable only complaint is I wish room had a microwave or a hot plate or a air frier or something to cook on but overall fantastic hotel

I liked the security. Room was very outdated!! Almost seemed if it was undergoing renovation. Bathroom with shower was fine and modern.

While the hotel itself is great and deserves 5 Stars, the area it is located in is a rough part of DTLA. Nothing the hotel can do about that, and actually takes that aspect of the stay “head on”, by providing in room sound machines and earplugs. Having the coffee shoppe on the main floor is great! The Orpheum and United Theaters are super conveniently close, and Zinque, a small restaurant / lounge located in the buildings main floor was outstanding! The street noise and some bikers who frequent the area are my only cause for concern.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel while in town for a concert. The hotel check-in/checkout process was super easy. The hotel staff were amazing and very friendly. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, which is hard to find at hotels. We loved the decor and would absolutely stay here again! If you stay here, walk around the corner and grab you some street tacos. You won’t be disappointed! Highly recommend this hotel!

The staff was extremely professional. They make you feel like you are the most special person in the world. Would definitely recommend this place to my friends and colleagues visiting the west coast. I was impressed by the regal structure of the building itself.

I stayed here from 3rd-10th April. The property looks nothing like it does on the photos - the room looked like my little sister built it. On the second night I had an allergic reaction to whatever they wash the bedding with - I travel A LOT and this has never happened. I woke up with puffy eyes and a swollen face, when i told the stuff, they were friendly but unhelpful. i’ve requested a refund but not heard back. i refuse to pay for a hotel i didn’t even stay at due to the allergy. i would not advise anyone to stay here. the location is ok tho, near the crypto arena so we could watch the lakers game but there are other better hotel options in downtown.

The room was stylish and clean. I loved that the shower and toilet were separate. However the toilet door has no lock and had a gap you could see through. If staying with family or friends it's no big problem but worth mentioning. The shower did not come with a shower curtain, we needed to ask for one. Even with shower curtain the stream was so strong it got the floor all wet. The shower stream was way too strong it almost took out my nipple. Over all good price, would recommend.

Amazing hotel! Everything was so clean and there were so many amenities. I love how easy the virtual check-in is. Don’t like the parking situation, but it’s right downtown. Loved it! Would stay here again :)

I had a great stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was very convenient and close to many restaurants and attractions. There was a nice café open during mornings in the lobby. It’s really great if you want a downtown location for a few days.

Very disappointed as there were multiple issues with our stay starting with the wrong days being reserved. They reserved us from wed- Sunday instead of Thurs-M. By the time I realize it had been over 4 hrs so they were unwilling to fix the mistake. Then while we arrived they were still unwilling to help us check into our hotel properly. The first issue was asking for a $250 deposit that is not listed anywhere on the site. No where during the online process did it state this fee. Then when i had to do my own check in as the receptionist that is there is not able to do that. They say it’s a new online only check in place. So next we had to call Kasa to fix some issues and I sat on hold for 30 minutes while waiting to talk to some one. After finally talking to someone they did nothing to help fix my check in from wed-Sunday. I even asked to speak with a manager. Waited 30 minutes for a call back and got nothing so finally just checked in to relax. The room was very ok at best. About 6 hours later we finally got a phone call while we were sleeping that were unwilling to move the stay so that we had the correct reservation. But they were willing to give us a 50 refund out of the extra 200 they were charging us for a room we weren’t staying in for a night. Finally called and got them to only charge 100 instead of 150. Which was still very unhelpful. Highly wouldn’t recommend this hotel for all the crap we went through.

Perfect area to be in. We were able to walk to Santee alley and to venue. Felt very safe in area. Hotel was also very nice and felt so comfortable. The top floor was nice to just relax and enjoy the sunset.

This property is great if you are seeing a show at one of the nearby theaters. The hotel does not have its own parking but has plenty of options nearby. Although KASA is predominantly self-serve and having to remember entry codes (instead of room keys) is a pain, there were 2 employees posted up in the lobby to answer questions and offer guidance should you need it which was helpful. The hotel and its rooms are clean, appear to be newly remodeled (not just painted) beds are low to the ground but comfortable and the harvest gold carpet was reminiscent of my Grandparents house. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Downtown LA is wall to wall homeless people. People were yelling in the street all night long. While security folks were in abundance, that did not make us feel any safer. The hotel check in and check outsystem is all done over an app that wasn't working very well. The room was awful. One of the worst beds we'd ever attempted to sleep in. The room was less rhan basic and very small. Thete was nowhere to sit as the bed took up all the living space. Not worth the money.

The hotel is an area that is very walkable and safe, food options are many. The staff of the property are very good. We’ve enjoyed our stay here, the off site over night parking is 3 minute walk away. The carpet in the room is old. We will stay here again next time visiting, I’d recommend this hotel.

Horrible experience all around. The rooms felt like a prison and the rooftop bar had DJs that kept us up all night. This place is closing so this review doesn’t even matter, but wildly different from other Ace Hotels. The guys at the coffee bar and in the restaurant were nice.

Stayed here for New Year's Eve... Found it to be a really nifty boutique downtown LA hotel. There was a nice disco brunch on Sunday and a popular rooftop, that had a DJ nightly, as well as several special events throughout the month. According to my friends that are local to Los Angeles, The Ace, is known to host many parties and events. It is next door to a theater which I understand is fairly popular... Location was pretty good really not too difficult to get anywhere from Pasadena to LA live... Unfortunately it seems the Ace will be closing its doors the last week of January 2024... And even though my stay was brief, (only 2 days)I think that's too bad, I certainly would have looked forward to staying again!

There was a party or event on or near the property and the music was loud until 2am. It would be good to give guests earplugs.
