House was clean and recently renovated. House was fitted with everything we needed. Mar 25, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Very nice stay We enjoyed our stay here…as a group of friends they came together to attend the celebration of life of a dear friend, finding this place to stay together—share our tears, laughter, music, cooking and love was very special. The four bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were perfect and provided separate and joint space at the same time. It rained so we didn’t get to spend much time outside , but the yard and patios were beautiful. The driveway fit all our cars and felt very safe. We would highly recommend—it’s not one of Pasadena’s historic craftsman homes, but still a good, eclectic neighborhood close to the Arroyo for hiking, easy access to stores and other Pasadena highlights . We were in town for a festival and mainly looking for enough bedrooms and bathrooms for our group to sleep comfortably and get ready—this place delivered on that. There was plenty of space for our mixed group of friends, and it worked well as a home base since we were out most of the time.That said, the communication and check-in process left a lot to be desired. The host only responded via phone calls, which made coordination difficult. On the day of check-in, I received a completely different address than what VRBO had provided. I couldn’t get a response until I called from the airport, which was frustrating and stressful.The host explained it was due to a previous guest throwing a party and upsetting neighbors, but the sudden switch was still concerning—especially since I was asked about parties during booking simply because I inquired about parking. The new location also ended up being further from the festival, which was a bummer since we had planned to walk.A few other notes:The front door’s keypad knob combo was finicky and made locking/unlocking tricky.Wi-Fi instructions were only sent via message (nothing at the house) and were inaccurate. We had to call again to get the correct info, which was stressful since one of our friends needed internet access for work involving patient care.All in all, solid house but rough experience on the logistics and communication side. ##### Elena S. Me and 3 friends stayed here for two nights. We saw a concert at the Rose Bowl which is very conveniently located. It was a short and easy uber ride. The house is clean, the neighborhood is quiet.
