  • The spacious cortijo estacada sleeps up to 20 people but can now also be rented for smaller groups of up to 10 people on a private exclusive basis allowing guests to reserve at reduced prices during certain dates - please contact us for further information.

    This charming, spacious 18th century andalucian Cortijo, estacada located in a protected area of natural beauty next to a natural park and yet just 7 minutes from town. Set in acres of orange trees with magnificent views to parque natural Matallana and sierra Morena. Outside there are large gardens with a 12x6 meter swimming pool, BBQ, kitchen, shaded dining, volleyball and 'Boules' games area. Inside there are 6 en suite bedrooms and a further 6 bedrooms , 2 family shower rooms and 2 additional WC`s, substantial games room, living room and kitchen. The extensive 70 square meter lounge and its high vaulted ceilings provides a relaxing environment. Games room offers table tennis, pool table and games consoles. Fully equipped kitchen featuring granite worktops,island and eating area. Utility room includes 2 x washing machine/ tumble drier and access to a patio and raised sun terrace for drying washing. Weekly linen change provided. Lounge,dining room and all bedrooms are air conditioned.

    This is a beautiful 18th century Cortijo set in 5 acres of orange groves and mature gardens, around which guests can enjoy a stroll. The huge area of land means that there is no noise, giving you the perfect chance to escape and unwind with the family with all the amenities of the town nearby...
    The gardens have panoramic views over the Lora countryside and protected natural park The garden is well lit at night and the town of Lora Del Rio beyond - what a perfect spot to relax with a glass of something cold!
    The large swimming pool has steps which slope gently down. Outdoor kitchen with further dining facilities is a fabulous area to dine alfresco, enjoy the view, play board games or relax with a cool drink whilst supervising the children playing in the pool.
    As you enter the Cortijo estacada, you immediately feel at home.
    Inside is comfortably furnished, a charming mix of rustic and modern. Needless to say the lovely farmhouse kitchen is fully equipped. It has a wonderful double oven with five gas burners, 2 additional ovens/hobs, 2 dishwashers, 2 large fridge freezers and a microwave, as well as plenty of crockery, cutlery and glassware and coffee-makers. The large kitchen table is ideal for giving the kids breakfast while planning your day.
    11 double bedrooms (airconditioned), 6 with en suite facilities makes Cortijo Estacada the ideal property for several families to share or for several generations of the same family to holiday together. The sitting room has large comfy sofas, a flat screen TV with European channels and DVD player. The dining room is extremely spacious with tables that can be extend giving plenty of room for family dinners
    The games room has a wide array of toys, games, pool table, table tennis, games consoles - With so much to do and explore at Cortijo Estacada, you really wouldn't need to go elsewhere!

Villa spacieuse idéale grands groupes

Maison très grande et bien équipée idéale pour un groupe de 25/30 personnes: 3 frigos dont un près de la piscine, congélateur, 2 lave-vaisselles et 2 lave-linges et plusieurs fours et tables de cuisson. Beaucoup de serviettes de bain et piscine à disposition ainsi que shampoings et gels douches. L’espace extérieur est très agréable avec le coin piscine/bar/bbq et de grandes tablées ombragées. Grande piscine. Petit bémol, manque de prestation de qualité (salles de bain peu équipées…) et nettoyage assez sommaire. Hôtes très sympathiques et bienveillants.

Le potentiel est là mais...La propreté du logement laisse à désirer. Les salles de bains d'un autre âge sans rideau de douche, avoir de l'eau chaude est une aventure Les travaux de rénovation sont d'une qualité médiocre. Les extérieurs pas mieux.Dommage le rapport qualite/prix n'y est pas.

Excellent base for a large party

For our family party of 19, aged between 6 and 78, the cortijo offered multiple room configurations and options, a large kitchen that worked well for catering for this number, and a magnificent pool and pool area that was the centre of activity every day. Add cheap and easy access from the local station to Seville and Cordoba, and activity for all ages was on hand.

We stayed here with 17 of us and it was the perfect place for a group. The property is well amenitised with lots of bedrooms, towels, kitchen supplies, outdoor space, and so on. The pool is big and we were able to have parties without any complaints. You do have to pay for AC separately however this was very affordable. Overall, a great stay with excellent hosts!

Great property, great stay

A group of 22 with a mixture of adults and children stayed at the property. We’ve stayed at many places as a group and this place was great for socialising as a group. plenty of seating everywhere, a great size kitchen and plenty of room if you wanted to be on your own too. We had a slight issue with the air con when we arrived but the owner was great and immediately came round and fixed the issue. The owner was always available if need be on whatsapp for recommendations of where to eat or go if need be. i was very impressed and would stay again without hesitation.

Nous avons fêtez les 40 ans de mon mari entre amis et tout était parfait La maison est très grande avec de la place pour tous La cadre est idéal : terrasse avec de grandes tables pour manger, une grande piscine, terrain pétanque,terrain volley, .... Spacious property for a large family

Lora Del Rio accommodated all eighteen of us (age five to eighty), providing space for everyone to enjoy themselves, whether at the pool, playing indoor and outdoor games, watch movies, or just sit and read under the trees. We thoroughly enjoyed the barbecues and being able to sit in different locations for meals depending on the time of day. It is conveniently situated between Cordoba and Seville. We also visited Carmona nearby.

Perfect villa for a large group of family or friends

We have just come back from a wonderful week in Cortijo Estacada. We were a large family group of 20 adults. The villa was ideal as there is plenty of space so we didn't get on top of each other. The pool area is wonderful with plenty of sun-beds for everyone and areas of shade for those who want it. There isn't a lot to do in the local area (this wasn't a problem as most of our party didn't want to leave the villa) but Seville and Cordoba are approximately an hour and an hour and half drive away and well worth visiting. Theresa and Roger are on hand if needed.

A lovely week in Lora Del Rio

Our hosts were very helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. The villa is lovely. It has great amenities, a large pool with plenty of garden furniture and shaded areas. We spent many hours playing volley ball and ping pong, the games room is great fun. Outside is a lovely bar area with fridge, BBQ and seating, this was highly enjoyable and convenient. The patio near the villa has a lovely outside table for group evening meals. The kitchen is well equipped, two fridge freezer and dishwashers were handy when catering for a large group. We highly recommend ordering an online shop from Mercadona supermarket for arrival, it was quick and easy. The supermarket itself in town is also highly recommended. Our hosts kindly arranged catering for us at the villa for a very reasonable price. The food was excellent and we would definitely recommend the tapas dishes and paying a very small fee for service and cleaning. Towels and beach towels are provided and the air con charge is very reasonable and the bill at the end was very low. We visited the lovely town of Cordoba and Castillo Almodóvar del Rio, both are accessible by car or train and are definitely worth a visit, especially Game of Thrones fans as they are the filing locations of Volantis and Highgarden. Arrive at the castle before 11 to park at the entrance, there is parking at the bottom of the hill but the walk would be long and steep. The views are spectacular. We visited Seville on the last day, again by car. The Real Alcázar de Sevilla is beautiful and worth a visit, it’s another filming location of game of thrones. The cathedral and Plaza de Espana are stunning. The villa is in a great location to visit all of these beautiful sights. Would definitely return.

This is huge Villa with acres of space inside and out The pool area is marvellous and the grounds give lots of space for outdoor games and choices for resting and dining. Inside too has lots of communal space to escape the heat with indoor rest, games, films and so on the Air-conditioning is efficient and reasonable cost in the rooms - kitchen does get very hot Lora del rio provides all you need with the mercadonia supermarket and some good local shops/bars for veg, bread and tapas. Thee is not a great deal to do in the area abut you don't really need tif you are there to take it easy The train to Sevilla is a must and very reasonable and efficient with free stations car park in Lora Parts of the villa internally are a little tired but it is ideal for large family groups as you do not need to be too precious Theresa is an excellent and efficient host

Great vacation at a spacious villa!

We had a great holiday in a spacious villa! Theresa and Roger were very welcoming and accommodating offering some great recommendations and were very responsive to our needs. We were a large group of 20, both adults and (big) kids and found the villa had more than enough space and facilities for all of us. The pool area was splendid offering plenty of space to fool around and shade for those who wanted it. Pretty good location to both Seville and the airport. We would definitely recommend this property to others and all look forward to the next opportunity to visit.

Great holiday with large group of friends

We had a great holiday at Cortijo Estacada which was ideal for our large group of friends with children. The number of facilities available, including a really nice large pool meant that we were never short on things to do. Theresa and Roger were also extremely helpful with any questions we had, including arranging caterers which we would also recommend.

Relaxed, easy holiday for large family group

We were a family group of 17 with a wide range of ages from 3 years upwards. The Cortijo was wonderfully spacious and was easily able to comfortably accommodate us all. We spent most of the time in the large pool area and took advantage of all the amenities available to us. We had cooks come and make us dinner on a number of nights - a mix of vegetarian and meat eaters. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped to deal with large group catering. The food was delicious and the cooks very friendly and amenable. The paella was particularly good as were the tapas. Theresa deserves special mention for being incredibly helpful and kind - she organised the shopping for us on the first day, cleaning, babysitting, restaurant recommendations and the cooks. She certainly made the holiday relaxed and easy - nothing was too much trouble. We would certainly recommend the Cortijo - it was super easy to get to from Seville. Thank you Theresa!

We had a fabulous stay in the cortijo. There was a group of 20 and we had a fantastic week. We spent most our time around the pool and there was plenty of seating areas and sun beds to chose from, in the sun and also the shade. We spent a day in Seville which was very easy to get to; the town had a great train service. Most of our days we ate at the cortijo and got food from the supermarkets in town. There is a good selection to chose from so we had a great variety of dinners. On two occasions we did eat out in town in two restaurants called, Javi Garcia and Vera Cruz. Again, these had a great variety and everyone in the group had something they enjoyed. The cortijo overall is a beautiful home, very spacious and plenty of social spaces. Every room had air conditioning as well which was an added bonus. I definitely recommend and we shall be booking again for a future stay.

Incredible house

We were a group of 16 young people who had just finished high school and were looking for a place to relax and celebrate. We found Cortijo Estacada and it was absolutely amazing. Both the house and the surroundings were incredible. Theresa was very helpful with everything, even after our stay ended. We would definitely recommend Cortijo Estacada to our friends and families.

Well managed, fantastic & picturesque location

The Cortijo Estacada provided my friends and me with the most fantastic location for my 40th birthday celebrations. Seville city centre, the airports are very accessible by car and the local town Lora Del Rio is picturesque with a quaint feel & good restaurants. I can’t recommend the venue highly enough; it was an absolutely fantastic location to make any special event memorable. Theresa and Roger were wonderful hosts, providing excellent communication at all times and going above and beyond to provide me and my friends with everything required for a fun-filled, well provided for stay (including, catering ideas, shopping and beverage deliveries). The high ceilinged house was a great size for our needs, well maintained, with lots of different areas to give you the privacy or the party vibe you desire (depending on your needs). You really have the place to yourself, amidst beautiful rural surrounds, including orange groves and a stream. The pool area is superb, with marvellous views, all-in-all the facilities are spot on – from relaxing by the pool, numerous sporting activities and even dancing into the night - it really ticked all the boxes to make for the most perfect holiday and celebration.

Relaxation at it's finest

A group of 20 of us just spent the most relaxing week in this beautiful villa. There was plenty of space inside so we weren’t on top of each other with 11 rooms to choose from. Outside there was lots of space around the pool area and the gardens with plenty of shaded areas, tables, chairs and sun loungers for everyone. The villa and pool were very clean which made it more enjoyable and relaxing. Access to food was not an issue. Upon arrival the local supermarket delivered our online order and if and when we needed any other extra bits it was a quick drive into the town to pick up groceries. One night we had cooks come into the villa and cook us all a paella which was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed that evening. Other nights we headed into Lora del Rio for the evenings where there was a lot reasonably priced restaurants/tavernas to choose from or we cooked our own meals in the well equipped kitchen and BBQ. One day we took the train into Seville from town which was very easy and inexpensive. The kids stayed entertained with the outside volleyball net as well as the pool table and ping pong table inside. The owners of the property were very welcoming, friendly and gave us a lot of useful information regarding the villa and the surrounding areas. Overall, it was a fantastic holiday which we all thoroughly enjoyed and we will most definitely be making a return in the future.

Great venue for a multi generation get together

There were 19 of us from 4 generations and from two continents for a family get together and the house was great. The pool was our favourite venue, it was warm and clean and being 12 meters long was good for those who wanted to swim rather than just have a dip. There are plenty of sun loungers and lots of shade too around the pool. Teresa was friendly and helpful and when we had a couple of issues with maintenance problems she sorted them out immediately. Our only negative comment is that the house is at least a mile from the road along a really rough track. You definitely need a car as it would not be possible to walk to the local town.

fantastiy place for a large group holiday

This HUGE house is perfect if what you want is get-together with lots of people. The house is perfectly equipped to provide for a large party (it was 28 adults in our case): a lot of the bedrooms have an en-suite, the kitchen is fit to cater for 30+ and the common areas, inside and outside, are simply fabulous. The perfect plus: the orange trees we had unlimited access to (all you need is a volunteer to press 10 litres of fresh orange juice every morning!). It's not over the top, has everything you need, basically it's nice and comfortable without being excessive. When we got there, the house was clean and ready, all we had to do was slip into our swimsuits (which be bravely did, even though it was February). Theresa was a great help before, during and after our stay. Her recommendations and tips were spot on and a massive help, and she was able to help us out with all of our general queries (shopping, transport, activities...), and made us feel very welcome and at home, even though we had felt our questions were slightly excessive before getting there. The place is also perfectly child-friendly (the pool is secured), and party friendly (as we can confirm...). All of our friends were impressed with the place, wondered how we'd found such a gem and it certainly made our do even more magical. I would definitely recommend the Cortijo to anyone looking for a place spared from busy everyday life, a place to have your won retreat, whatever kind it may be.
