« Hi We needed a short stay in our travels back home. We were looking for something located out in the countryside and this fit perfectly for us adults . The teens with us probably would have preferred the opposite but they definitely liked the bags toss and the space of their own rooms. Note it is off what I thought would be busier road but I hardly noticed cars / noise Good communication with hosts - quick responses to initial issue. We would like to stay again in the future. »

« We had an absolute fabulous time here! The house is spacious and clean and had a well-stocked kitchen that allowed us to cook there the whole time. My feedback for future renters: plan on cooking your meals in. There are not a whole lot of restaurants around you. We stopped at Costco in Lexington on the way in a bought food for the whole week. The boat dock is an adventure! I don't think I can express how steep that hill is to get down to it! I happened to have walking sticks that we use...

« We, family of 6 w 4 adult children and our small dogs spent a week here while at a family reunion. Nice at the house it had everything you’d need in the kitchen n baths including float to relax in the lake. And what a view. The challenge is getting here. The last 5 miles or so takes about 20 mins of hairpin turns up and down the tn hills. Use your gps overall we had a blast »

« The house is great. They have more stuff than you'd expect. It's a home away from home. It's close to great fishing and swimming. Highly recommend the property and Straight Creek Marina. You won't be disappointed. »

« This place was nice for a quick weekend lake trip. The proximity to the boat dock was clutch. There were window AC units in the living room and master bedroom which was nice, but the bunk room was pretty hot. However, the host had a bunch of box fans in the unit that made it completely fine. It served our needs perfectly for a weekend spent out on the water. »
