This luxury 1 bedroom penthouse has a king sized bed with private terrace and a double sofa bed in the sitting room, set over 2 levels of a recently renovated building in the heart of Covent Garden on a quiet street in the centre of London. The apartment is furnished with taste and attention to detail and offers hardwood floors, tailor-made furniture and floor-to-ceiling windows. The apartment has a spacious living area with a lounge style bed, armchair, a projector/tv area, an assorted library and a semi-separate kitchen corner that is fully equipped and furnished with a kitchen that caters for 4 people. The sleeping area, located upstairs, offers a bedroom with a king sized bed, a desk and a walk-in closet, as well as a bathroom with open shower and access to a private terrace. The apartment comes fully equipped and includes clean linens and towels. Please note that the apartment is on the 4th floor and accessible via stairs only. NO ELEVATOR Please note until beg December 2025 there will be a scaffolding covering the facades for general maintenance. Terrace won't be effected. Thanks! The apartment is located in the middle of Covent Garden in the very heart of London. The streets surrounding the apartment are mostly pedestrian and all the large retail stores as well as countless boutique stores can be found within a few shorts steps of the apartment. The neighbourhood also features a large number of theatres, restaurants, cafés, bars as well as the Opera which is in Covent Garden. The closest underground station is only a very short walk away in Covent Garden (Piccadilly line). A large number of buses going to all parts of London can be found on the Strand just below Covent Garden. The best way to get around is by foot, most attractions such as Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square, China Town, the Strand, the British Museum are all within a 10-15 minute walk. You will have access to all amenities provided in the apartment as well as having the apartment to yourself during your stay. All guests are provided with clean sheets, bath towels, hand towels as well as basic bathroom supplies. The apartment has Wi-Fi Internet access throughout the apartment that guests can use during their stay. We will meet you upon your arrival to make sure you feel comfortable with the apartment and to hand over the keys. Should you have any questions or if any issues arise with the apartment during your stay you can get in touch 24/7 via phone or email. Regular check-in time is from 3pm to 8pm. Regular checkout time is up to 11am on the check out day. If you wish to check-in earlier between 12noon and 3pm please let us know as it might be possible depending on the previous guest’s checking out. Additional charges: Please note that there are extra charges if you are looking to check in late or check out very late. 1\. Late check in - Fee of £25 for check-ins between 8pm and 10pm. The stairway up to the 3rd floor is no joke, so be warned! We were there during a heat wave, so we had to contend with that a bit. A fan was provided, but 92 degree London is beastly. Check in was relatively easy...our flight was delayed 4 hours, but the owner was able to accommodate the change in meeting time for the keys and was always extremely responsive. The location is great, close to food and shopping, close to Trafalgar square and the West End shows, and a 30 minute walk to the Millenium bridge and Tate Modern museum along the Thames. We loved it. The 68 stairs to the apartment are a nice aerobic challenge, but do not choose this place if you have heavy luggage or trouble walking up a lot of stairs. We are 60plus and managed fine, but were glad we only had rollaboard suitcases. The Churchill War rooms were really fantastic. See Hadestown and/or Six if they are playing in the theaters when you visit! ##### Beth K. This was the definition of the perfect place to stay and explore London. Not only was it ideally located, but the flat was spotless, equipped with everything needed and very comfortable. Everything you would need or want was within walking distance - literally. Walk out the door to bakeries, cafes, restaurants, shopping, site seeing and theater and come back to rest/relax or in my case catch my Buckeyes playing. Sole was an incredibly gracious host: friendly, communicative and helped us navigate a couple timing issues. Loved the location. A couple of things need updating (handle to door on terrace and a more effective shower curtain). The steps are a bit difficult but we got used to it. Overall we loved it. The location is unbeatable in my opinion. It was near tons of shopping and theatres, but more importantly great restaurants and pubs! Easy walk and multiple tube lines close by. The Flat is the top floor with alot of narrow windy stairs. It was a bear with luggage but not a bother without. The kitchen could do with a bit more, there were only 2 mugs, no coffee, etc but with so much outside your door there is not much reason to cook. The living area does not have any chairs so if you are a larger group you would have to use the dining room to gather. The host was wonderful, helpful and accommodating. Once you are inside the flat is comfortable and quiet and we enjoyed it ##### Susan L. Séjour de 7 nuits en octobre 2022 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Willie A. 28 oct. 2022 Points forts : Propreté #### Centrally located First off for a person with mobility issues like myself the 66 narrow winding stairs to the apt and the 14 other stairs to the bathroom and bedroom was an issue. Other than that the apt was very large, well decorated. The two living room chairs as advertised were missing so you had to sit at the kitchen table. The host met us and gave us a tour and instructions. It was around the corner from pubs, grocery store (groceries, wine beer), very close to the easy to use subway and good restaurants. It has a nice balcony off the bedroom where we enjoyed our evening drinks. For someone without mobility issues this is a great place to stay. ##### Willie A. Séjour de 4 nuits en octobre 2022
