Very walkable to Picadilly Circus, the West End, Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace, Churchill War Rooms, Westminster Abbey, and the best shopping in London. The Green Park Metro is a short walk for anything further. We encountered early construction noise in the office building across the way -- nothing to be done about that. Bed, linens and furniture are cheap and not the quality I would like to see for the rates we paid. Sheets on the beds were thin and the mattress was uncomfortable and cheap. The bathroom fixtures are dated and need some updating. Furniture is budget level and the coffee table was previously damaged by guests. Kitchen was stocked and functional. Owners representative was friendly and prompt with communication. We were told however that the neighbors complained about a prior guest throwing a party and being loud. We were asked to tell any neighbors in the building that we were friends of the owner. That is not true, since we are just VRBO renters. We were left with the impression that the building does not allow VRBO rentals and we would not be welcomed by the building. This created an uncomfortable environment for us.
