Great Hotel!

Posted 2-May-2016
Pros: Nice atmosphere, short walk from airport terminals, very comfortable bed, quick room service delivery.
We had an overnight layover in London. Exhausted from our travels, it was AMAZING! Easy access from the airport, just a quick walk. We got checked in and had a lovely room awaiting us. We ordered room service which was served very quickly and was delicious! The bed was beyond comfortable which provided a much needed good night's sleep! Although short, we were very happy with our stay!

Nice to walk from T5 to the Hotel

Posted 24-Apr-2016
Pros: Walk from T5. Don't have to mess with those pesky buses.
Cons: The cost. Usually out of my price range.
Location: % minutes inside walk from T5. Plenty of reasonably priced food options in the Hotel. The bar food is great.
This is a great hotel right adjacent to T5. It is often quite expensive, but there are times when deals are forthcoming. This is my second stay. Everything was great.

Friendly staff and courteous

Posted 18-Apr-2016
Staff were pleasant from check in to check out. In particular Alicia at front desk who ensured that all my requests were taken care off. Had a small glitch with wake up call but the check out gentlemen rectified issue. Was super pleasant to my 5 year old which makes things great when checking out at 7am. Thanks.

Very convenient for overnight transfer at Heathrow

Posted 14-Apr-2016
Pros: The hotel is a pleasant departure from the usual Heathrow "Spartan" accommodations with the irritating bus transfers. Accommodations are first class!
Cons: Shower door wouldn't close and leaked into the bathroom...looks like it's been that way for awhile...hinges need adjustment.
Had previously used limo from hotel to Terminal 3 in the morning...used the train (Heathrow Express) this time and it was very easy...a no brainer. I travel through Heathrow routinely from trips to Africa and the Middle East...now that I've figured out the train transfer between terminals, I'll prioritize the Sofitel in these transfer situations. It's a little expensive, but found discounted rates on-line the day of which made it competitive.

Convenient hotel at LHR T5

Posted 9-Apr-2016
Pros: Convenience to LHR T3 and T5
Cons: Attention to customers who are coming from many places, usually jet-lagged and tired and could use access to some amenities.
I try to stay at this hotel whenever I can because it is very convenient to terminals 3 and 5. The room was nice but temperature was not cold enough and it was too hot under comforters (no single sheets provided). Check-in was late and shops were closed at terminal and hotel. The staff was unable to provide a single feminine product. Humm, that is pretty basic.
