Bright sunny small self-contained studio with its own independent entrance, tucked away at the back of a small private garden. Quiet and safe area. All new with quality double bed with big square French pillows and 'traversin' (bolster), equipped kitchenette with microwave, fridge, coffee maker, kettle & small electric oven (but no hob), toaster. Shower, wc, TV etc. Reading table, wifi, lightproof blinds. Lovely upmarket safe neighbourhood. Near to 3 stations (Overground and Underground, central London in 10 minutes) with nearby supermarkets, cafés, dozens of restaurants. Really lovely, bright and clean in quiet yard. Excellent airport connections nearby. Very reasonably priced for what is on offer. You can go out for breakfast to local cafés or bring back your own. Ideally situated for access to central London and within a reasonably priced taxi ride back from town. This is a strictly NO SMOKING cosy little studio with great transport and facilities nearby. Il est certes près des métros mais à 25-30 min en transport du centre de Londres. Ce qui fait par ex si vous voulez manger, il faut prévoir 1h20 (a/r) qu'en transport par ex de Hayde Park.A l'intérieur c'est vraiment petit, il faudrait mettre des étagères de plus et des accorches pour la sdb. Il fait très chaud ( même s'il y a la clim) elle est extrêmement bruyante et le lit je pense 140 est vraiment juste pour 2, surtout quand il fait chaud. Oubliez si vous voulez manger à l'intérieur, micro-ondes fonctionne mais le reste non ( four) et encore une fois c'est extrêmement petit même pour manger à 2\. Niveau intimité : c'est bruyant car très peu isolé, on entend tout de dehors et surtout un bruit sans fin des groupes des clim ext des autres habitations. Nous avons eu aussi bcp de "visiteurs" qui ont fait du bruit et laissé des déchets devant l'entrée, ajoutant un sentiment d'insécurité à notre voyage. Toujours côté intimité on rentre cachés par l'arrière de la maison, aucune séparation entre nous et le jardin des propriétaires très mal entretenu, on voit chez eux et on nous voit...le seul point positif du logement est vraiment la propreté, de ce côté là pas de soucis. Le reste vraiment très loin de nos attentes et surtout les avis précédents. Nous avons eu du mal à profiter du séjour car difficile à dormir ! Du coup si vous y allez 2-3 nuits prévoyez des bouchons d'oreilles, un budget conséquent pour manger à l'ext ##### Gabriela V. Séjour de 5 nuits en juillet 2023 ### 8/10 – Bien #### Maéva J. 29 juill. 2019 Points forts : Propreté #### Petit mais de bonnes conditions Edward est un hôte très sympathique, qui malgré son absence pendant notre séjour, s'est montré très arrangeant, joignable et réactif auprès de ses employés dès que nous avions le moindre souci (nous l'avons prévenu que la douche était bouchée et Edward a envoyé quelqu'un dans l'heure). L'appartement est situé dans un quartier résidentiel bourgeois et calme. Il est à 500m de la station Finchley Road à laquelle nous allions à pied tous les jours (une grande rue résidentielle à remonter en 5mn). En prenant le métro, nous étions dans le centre de Londres en 15mn. Il y a une laverie en face de l'appartement ainsi qu'un petit restaurant et un bar à vin/bière très chouette. Un Waitrose vous permet de faire vos courses juste à côté de la station Finchley Road. L'appartement est situé dans l'arrière cour d'une grande maison, donc nous avions notre propre entrée, notre intimité et pas de vis-à-vis (les fenêtres donnent sur un genre d'atelier). Il est très petit (au bout du lit, vous avez un mini frigo et la kitchenette, une mini table et la salle de bain est au bout - type formule 1), il y fait très chaud l'été mais Edward nous a fourni tout ce dont nous avions besoin pour notre séjour : à notre demande, il a rajouté des plaques de cuisson, une chaise etc. Nous avions par ailleurs à notre disposition un mini four, un micro-ondes, un grille-pain, une bouilloire et une cafetière. Enfin, Edward nous avait fourni une grosse climatisation, ce qui était vraiment très appréciable durant notre séjour en pleine canicule (l'appartement ressemble à un ancien garage/préfabriqué donc la température monte assez vite en cas de forte chaleur). En résumé, si vous restez 2/3 jours à Londres, l'appartement est idéal, peu cher, pratique, bien situé et Edward est un hôte simple, qui fait confiance à ses hôtes et rend ainsi le séjour autonome et agréable. Pour une semaine comme nous avons fait, c'est un peu petit à force mais pour quelques jours de visites, c'est le top. Merci Edward pour ce séjour ! ##### Maéva J. It was very small as expected, but this was fine as we only used it to sleep. It served its purpose, but it’s worth mentioning a few concerns. There were a few cleanliness issues (used toothbrush and shower scrubbie left in the unit), and hair in the bed that wasn’t ours, but Edward responded to our concerns promptly. He also fixed a burned out light and loose towel rack when told of these issues. PAlthough we weren’t planning to use the barbecue, we never saw it.
