This first floor apartment is just a short walk from where it’s all hip and happening. At the same time it is on a quiet street surrounded by trees. The space Plenty of thought (not to mention money) has gone into the renovation of this 1-bed first floor apartment. The first thing you’ll probably notice is how the high ceilings and big windows give the place a real sense of spaciousness. Nowhere more so than in the lounge, in which you should immediately feel at home. That’s thanks to the fireplace, bookshelves, dining table and widescreen TV, which you can watch from the comfy sofa. You’ll find another big window in the bedroom, together with a beautifully presented king size bed and mirrored wardrobe in which to store your stuff. The bathroom has been refurbished too and features a bath with shower. And the kitchen’s new as well, with a shiny white floor that matches the colour of the units that house an integral oven, fridge and freezer. This place really has all the style of some of the best hotels, with the added advantage of all the facilities and freedom you get when you’re at home. This service is necessary as we’ve found that it helps to avoid any extra cleaning fees at the end of longer bookings. The construction noise is also significant and continuous from 8am onwards. There was no way that I could work from the flat and had to make other arrangements. All in all I don’t feel like this was a good value for the premium price point paid and the pictures shown are misleading to the current state of the flat. ##### Lauren K.
