This basement property is far from luxurious. The shades are unworkable and need to be kept closed so you don’t have to be seen by the guests from the neighboring unit going up and down the stairs or by others loitering on the sidewalk above. Also, the garbage cans are outside the window, as is the building entry door which slams shut with each coming and going, which can be in the middle of the night. The entry door to the unit has no more sound proofing than card board so you hear everything in the unit next door. Especially annoying was the constant yelling and crying of the children in the unit next door when I stayed there. The “kitchen” is minimally equipped so don’t plan on eating much here. It’s so small that the toaster and kettle have to sit on top the microwave. Also, the only place to sit to eat is at a desk with one cheap chair so the unit isn’t suitable for a couple who expect to sit together. This unit should be de-listed from Travelocity not only for the poor quality of the unit but also for the almost unreachable host who rarely answered his phone or text messages. He gave no written instructions on how to use the digital locks. I had to ask him to write down the codes which were different for the outside door as well as the apartment access door. No other instructions were available for anything else, like garbage pick up days and recycling. Don’t waste your money on this rental.
