Location was perfect. staff were wonderful and the rooms were top notch. Only negative was the shower ...it's side was way to high to get into that tub to take a shower and im 6'2"

Beautiful hotel with the BEST location. Steps away from the tube which will take you anywhere. Within walking distance of many sites, shopping, restaurants, etc. (if you like to walk - we walked miles every day). The negative? The hairdryer provided only worked in an outlet in the bedroom. Wouldn’t work with the international outlet that we brought. Not the best for someone who needs a hairdryer with a mirror in the morning.

Bad reception!
The receptionist did not know from the computer data that I had already paid in full and even asked me for the money for the room stay. I had to tell him I had already paid it in full. So this confusion caused stress right away in me. It was not very professional on the staff member part. That spoiled the stay at the hotel.

Great stay and staff
All staff were really excellent, very friendly , attentive and a great credit to the brand. Cant really fault anything about the hotel, felt very premium. It has a steam room but no sauna and would prefer that latter but that really is nitpicking. Would definitely stay again. Am very surprised its only 8.2 as at time of writing

The beautiful Marriott Parklane Hotel is located very central. Just a short minute walk to great stores and restaurants. The staff is exceptional. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable! Just overall a lovely and elegant hotel to stay in! I would stay there again and again!!!!!!!

Overall service not worth for me to spend here. From my first step to the hotel entrance till I get in the room was not like 5 stars hotel. Take too long time for check in. Arrange the end of corridor and no view, 1st floor room . Concierge make wrong reservation for my afternoon tea at Fortum Mason. Let me take long explanation to reception to get back my table. Poor experienced

I wasn’t sure when I arrived but was so pleased by the attentiveness of every single person on the staff. Also the room was extremely comfortable. I will day the lobby music sounded tinny and gave impression than a “less than” hotel. Which it is not!! Lovely lovely!

Some problems
Room wasn’t ready until 4:30pm which after an overnight fight where you get in at 7am is pretty tough. I extended my stay an extra day but it wasn’t recorded and I had to re-extend the stay on my original check-out date when I was in a rush to make a meeting. The service at lunch too slow and somewhat apathetic. The room was great. Spacious and well furnished. Nice bathroom and decent closet space. The maid service was good.
