She is now a very comfortable houseboat on the Thames. Enjoy being surrounded by nature, whilst being only 30 minutes by train from the centre of London. Kew is a fantastic area. Visit the royal botanical gardens which are only 5 minutes away or enjoy some good food and a drink in one of the many cozy pubs. Seahorse has a great deck that you can sit on and watch the world go by on the Thames. If its too chilly to sit outside, relax in the wheelhouse which has 360 degree views of the Thames. Parking a car is difficult in London, and we do not have private parking. There are options that we can help you with, especially if you don't plan to move your car for the duration of your stay, but we would recommend coming without one- and then using public transport- Seahorse is a historic boat, and not a brand new AirBnB- so may not suit all travellers! We re-paint and clean it on a regular basis but as everything is bespoke, it can be a challenge to keep it pristine. If you are after 5 star hotel luxury, then maybe this isn't for you. But If you want something a bit different and are up for a bit of an adventure, Seahorse is a fantastic place to stay whilst visiting London. You will be living on the river, so you might be woken up by a goose landing on the roof, or have other close encounters with wildlife.
