We are sorry that you were not happy with our accommodation however can you please elaborate why your score was so low? For a little rate we are offering plenty of free services like: flat tv with DVD with over 100 channels ,bedding and towels as well as all toiletries in bathrooms, free internet, coffees and teas, refrigerator, USB plugs, central heating, fan plus access to fully equipped kitchen. Sorry, but we are taking this low score to our hearts and obviously we are not happy at all. Look forward to your reply. Kind regards

This is not hotel but a junk and bad environment. If you looking for hotel and decent environment don’t do it and clean hotel and a place you can sleep with your two eyes close

Good Option for Last Minute Booking
This hotel is perfectly fine. It's definitely no frills, but certainly comfortable enough. It was well within our price range for a last minute reservation. We checked in later at night and the staff made us feel very welcome. The pub can get loud sometimes as can the neighborhood around it. The wifi was available in the room and in the pub and was always reliable. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to the nearest tube station, but a very short bus trip with several busses running regularly right out in front of the hotel. Strictly pub related: this doesn't seem "family owned" any longer and it certainly does not offer any kind of pub food outside of crisps. There's a nice variety of beers and the staff are friendly as well.

Unfortunately we do not have much facilities for food offering but we do offer our beautiful fully equipped kitchen for our guests' comfort. Kind regards

The staff were very friendly Considering it’s above a pub very quiet room was bigger than expected. Clean and tidy Room was hot but they did provide a decent fan for the room. Could do with a new mattress I’m a big girl so need a firm mattress but still a good stay if you are looking for somewhere to just put your head down this is the place and the Wi-Fi was very good 👍

Basic but cheap and has parking
I chose this hotel because I was looking for somewhere inexpensive for an overnight stay for work between attending two courses. I was pretty much going to get there, catch up on emails, sleep then go. The hotel describes itself as a basic, budget hotel and that is what it is. It looks like what it is. I chose this one because I had equipment with me and wanted on site parking - not always easy in London. The area is full of blocks of flats and is certainly not an affluent area. The parking was outside the front of the hotel so I was slightly worried about the car. The pub on the ground floor is clearly a favourite with locals who seems to know each other. A friendly and slightly bawdy atmosphere. Nice to get a reasonably priced drink to take up to my room. The staff were really friendly and the room was surprisingly large, the bed was comfortable though the quilt was rather thin and flat with an old looking cover. There were charging sockets by the bed - a good bonus for me. The Wifi refused to connect for more than 5 secs but I used my hotspot to do what I needed to do work wise. The en suite was small but clean and functional and the shower was nice and hot with choice of overhead or removable already head. There was a kitchen down the hall with a dryer, toaster etc. £66 for a night in London with parking. I could hear some noise from the pub downstairs but once it had closed it was surprisingly quiet. Basic, but clean and friendly. I will probably stay there again

Unfortunately my stay was poor, i had to be up reasonably early as i was working in the area and the hotel staff were bringing friends/pub regulars up through the hotel after closing time and they were very loud a little picky by me? Possibly, but it woke me up (11pm) and it showed no respect for the paying guests

Dear Mark, We are sorry you did not have satisfying stay with us. Having said that, our staff lives away from the place, hence we do not see the reason to your words, as all of them are going home after work. Most likely there other hotel guest trying to enjoy themselves, that is all. Kind regards

For personal reasons my stay at the hotel had problems. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, their help meant my situation wasn't made worse. The room itself was small but spotlessly clean and the shower was brilliant. Fridge and tea/coffee making facilities at this price range were very welcome. Free parking after 630pm and all weekend was also really helpful. To all the staff who helped with my stay, thank you very much.

Fantastic budget hotel.
For such a cheap stay (£40-50 per night) in London it was amazing. The host was lovely, showed me around the room and full kitchen facilities. I had an en-suite room, but there are cheaper options with shared facilities. If I am in the area again I will definitely book her (which is half the cost and twice as good as most other budget hotels in London).

Friendly, comfortable, clean
Checking in at a busy local pub bar, part of the hotel, felt a bit unusual to start. A warm friendly welcome from the efficient staff immediately made we welcome. The room had obviously been recently updated. A stylish en-suite shower room with top quality fittings had plenty of hot water, and the bed was comfortable. What else do you need.

GREAT PLACE
I HAVE STAYED THERE IN 2015 AND ENJOYED IT THEN SO I BOOKED IT AGAIN FOR THIS STAY. THE ONLY DRAWBACK IS THEY DONT HAVE 24 HR RECEPTION TO CHECK IN. BUT THEY ARE VERY NICE PEOPLE AND OWRKED WITH US

Picture is very flattering and misleading. It is rooms off a fairly local pub on a council estate. Rooms are smelly (although bedsheets are clean) and very noisy - with it being a pub...

It is a shame you have not approach us about this smell in your room, we would definitely tackle the issue. Our pub closes always by 11 pm on week days and by 12 am on weekends so probably the noise was not from the pub. Kind regards

Great local pub. rooms above, mine was an ensuite with 2 twin beds. They cleaned room everyday, coffee,etc in room and refrigerator which not expected. Service was great, friendly cliental. Quiet even though in residential neighborhood. Also has kitchen shared. Be sure and go to Bourough market 20 minute walk.

Excellent value for money
We had a triple room, the bed was quite comfy. The bathroom was very small however if you are a lone traveller or young couple that shouldn't matter to much. The lady who checked us in was very polite. The area is in the middle of an estate this may bother some however we had no trouble and the nights were peaceful and quiet. It's about a 15 min walk to the nearest train station and a further 5 mins to the tube. Overall for the cheap price the hotel is great, being one of the cheapest near central London you get a good room that's worth a bit more than what you would pay.
