Hotel bom e bem localizado

Posted 10-Jul-2016

Has potential

Posted 10-Jul-2016
Hotel has potential. Rooms are small and in need of some repairs. Walls were paper thin and we could hear everything in the rooms next door. There were a lot of people hanging out around the front and lobby; however, they were not guests. Would not have felt safe walking in the area at night. Didn't like that our door wouldn't lock from the inside and we had to leave our room key at the front desk when we wanted to leave the hotel. Receptionist who checked us in was friendly but will not be staying here again.

Great hotel for location, budget. Great breakfast

Posted 4-Jul-2016
The hotel itself is small and simple. The staff was very welcoming and the check in process was quick and simple. The room itself was as expected. Small room with a TV, hot water kettle, and mini fridge. The bathroom was clean and tidy but the bathroom door was one of those plastic accordion doors and it was in need of replacement. The bed was comfortable (not hard but also not too squishy) and we both got a good night's sleep. Location is perfect if you want to be near Paddington and Kings Cross Station.

Simple and cheap

Posted 20-Jun-2016
Pros: It's a bed ... and breakfast was included. Nothing fancy, but enough to get us on our way!
Cons: It's a lower scale hotel ... I mean, you get what you pay for. The bed wasn't 2 separate single beds so that was really nice!!
Location: This seemed to be the Lebanese district, and has a lot of good restaurants and bakeries nearby!
So I knew not to expect much from this hotel seeing the price of it ... It's a bed in a room with a bathroom. Mini fridge was nice since the tap water only came in warm and hot. The fact that breakfast was included definitely cut on some of the costs. If you plan to visit London, this hotel is a few blocks from Paddington and the Tube, and is a decent place to lay your head down at night. I definitely wouldn't spend more time at the hotel then needed but it was good for sleep. Also, if you have a load drunk neighbor yelling on his phone in the room next door, you will definitely hear everything. That was the only person we heard ... so it's probably not that bad.

clean hotel, close to the tube.

Clean hotel, small rooms, clean, difficult to unpack clothes. Staff was friendly, cooked breakfast was good. Location close to the tube was a plus.

Convenient

Posted 3-May-2016
Stayed for 1 night to see the ballet at the royal opera house. The room was quite small for 80 quid but maybe because it's London. Close to the Edgware station, but we could not find any nice restaurant/cafe for lunch and ended up buying sandwiches from the M&S. IDK why but many shops were closed on Saturday. Saw loads of middle eastern cafes like Lebanese that I would've tried. They had soaps, shampoo&conditioner (didn't use them), and 2 bath towels. No toothpaste or tooth brushes or bathrobes. Coffee and tea with cups were provided. It was clean though :) Overall it was ok hotel with ok breakfast. recommend for people just need to sleep.
