Nicht 4 Sterne Wert.

Das Zimmer ist klein. Bett ist unbequem. Nicht sauber - Insekten im Bad. Keine Klobürste. Man hört alles durch die Wände.

Kleine Zimmer, aber ausgezeichnete Lage

Posted 17-Oct-2016

The location by Kensington Palace is wonderful.

Posted 16-Oct-2016
This hotel is extremely well situated -- by Kensington Gardens -- and is small but reliable. I have, after a number of stays, found it to be clean. The staff are excellent: friendly and responsive to problems. The rooms are very small -- and no real view -- but the hotel itself is gorgeous (Edwardian!): stained glass, wood paneling, and so on in the common areas. The breakfast is average but solid. All told, the hotel delivers in a modest but pleasing manner. It is not for folks looking for luxury and splendor but who want basic comfort and a friendly environment. The management is great.

Affreux

Beautiful building in a good location, tiny rooms

Posted 13-Sep-2016
From the outside and in the foyer this hotel is a beautiful building in a convenient location. inside however it has been carved up into tiny rooms that just about function. Our bed was comfortable, but there was barely room to walk round it and approx 1square foot of surface to put things on in the bedroom area. There wasn't space to open the wardrobe door fully and everything felt crammed in and cramped, whilst tripping over suitcases on the floor. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Mixed feelings

Posted 11-Sep-2016
I stayed here in a pinch at the end of my travels as the left luggage at the train stations aren't open past 11pm. The hotel is located near Paddington which is a major plus. I had several issues with things being charged to my room that i didn't sign for (food) and my check in information was completely wrong. The staff is friendly, but the overall management of bookings and charges to rooms seems to severely lack any kind of organization. On top of that, I have huge welts that are some sort of bug bite that I'm hoping aren't bed bug bites.

Nice, small hotel near Kensington Park, Tube stop.

Double room was small, but well-appointed. Bed was very comfortable. Shower pressure was excellent. Room service was tasty, well-priced and delivered quickly. Staff was courteous and responsive.

Fint hotell alldeles intill Hyde Park

Posted 3-Sep-2016
Små rum, som alla andra hotellrum i London. Men det räckte absolut i fyra dagar åt mig o min sambo. Mysigt gammeldags hotell. Kan absolut tänka mig detta hotell igen!

No review availble - switched to a different hotel

Posted 4-Aug-2016
Pros: Nice looking lobby and bar, haven't a clue about the rest of the place as I didn't get the chance to see it.
So I would like to review this hotel but I can't, because when I arrived I was informed that there was an issue with my room (no hot water) and that they were switching me to a different, nearby sister hotel. After a long flight, little sleep, and an awkward ride into central London from Gatwick, I was exhausted, and didn't really have much energy to enquire about alternatives. They said they would not offer me an upgrade at this hotel, but they would throw in breakfast at the other hotel. They also said that if I didn't like the sister hotel, I could return to the original hotel the following morning - but who wants to spend all their time in london transferring between hotels? Frankly, I find the whole thing rather odd, and off-putting, and am really not confident that anyone should trust that their booking will be honoured should they choose this hotel.
