The hotel location was perfect and the staff was extremely nice! The room was clean and for its cost was definitily a worthwhile stay. I would definitely return and book with the hotel again.

Albergo - elegante e pulito - stanza singola con bagno troppo piccolo - anche per chi è abitutato agli standard Inglesi è troppo. Pulizie quotidiane letto sufficiente - dimensioni e arredo camera sufficienti - non merita le 4 stelle - tre sarebbero più oneste. Posizione perfetta - metro a 3min (South Kensingthon- Piccadilly Line from Heathtrow) - In alternativa Gloucester Road - A 3 min a piedi ci sono: Natural/Science/Victoria &Albert museum) - a 10 min a piedi Knitsbridge - a 15 min a piedi Hyde Park Corner. Loose flooring that creaked if someone walked anywhere on the same floor, you could hear it. Lift so noisy it keeps you awake. Beds so bumpy I suspect they are older than me. Bathroom that is literally falling apart (added handle for shower door screwed in because door splitting in two, no plug for sink, you turn and turn the taps but you will be waiting a while for any water to come out) and very old dusty/moldy smell to the room. 4 star rating is absurd for this hotel.

Die Lage ist gut. Habe ein schlechtes Zimmer erwischt: winzig, kalt, schmutzig, 2 Lampen funktionierten nicht, lauwarmes Wasser in der Dusche, Fenster zerbrochen und notdürftig geklebt, hellhörig. Ich blieb 2 Nächte, jede Nacht wurde man von einem Feuer-fehl-Alarm aufgeweckt.

Staying for business. Was in lower room 35. Bathroom full of mould all over the roof, can imagine all the spaces floating around. The shower I stepped into ment I had the fixed shower head to my chin height. Very uncomfortable having shower and the the shower door to close I had to lift the glass pain off it’s rail and then put in into posittion, very unsafe. The bed itself soft no spring and I could feel a bar going through it. Very uncomfortable. Overall needs updating

Chambre 204 avec 1 grand lit (=2 petits lits accolés) qui prend toute le place. Un bureau et 1 chaise qui obstruent l'accès à la salle de bains donc tout ce mobilier est très encombrant dans cette petite chambre. On entend en permanence le bruit de la circulation incessante car pas de double vitrage. Moquette tachée et défraichie. Mobilier très usé et chaise totalement inconfortable car le rembourrage est affaissé. Par contre grand écran TV et grande salle de bains. Lavabo avec robinetterie ancienne (eau chaude eau froide séparée). Dès qu'on allume la lumière dans la salle de bains on doit supporter un infernal bruit de "moteur" . Les autres chambres autour de la mienne semblaient en meilleur état ..Ceux qui ont l'option avec petit déjeuner doivent se rendre à l 'hôtel situé en face pour prendre leur petit déjeuner. Très bonne situation de l'hôtel proche du métro South Kensington et des musées V&A et d'histoire naturelle et beaucoup de commerces.

Shame but has potential

Great location. Friendly staff. We had a basement room which was freezing and very dark. The narrow corridor outside the room was lighter and warmer! A lively noisy school was outside our small 'window'. Bed very uncomfortable. Shower needs work. You have to hold the button down on the kettle to get it to boil!! No instructions or welcome booklet/folder. Such a shame as it's a lovely looking hotel. It needs some TLC and investment. Sorry but we will not be back.

Super location, only 1 min walk from South Ken Tube, nice hotel, lovely reception staff, my single room was tiny, bumpy mattress, bathroom floor leaked, couldn’t change rooms as booked out, I will stay here again just a different room. Bar & restaurant also great. Enjoy ur experience.

Quiet good location but very tired decor.

Hotel in great location very quiet. We were given a "nice room on side of hotel" but there was no view. Aircon units outside window. Very tired decor dirty and worn carpet and walls. Cracked tiles in bathroom. Bed comfy but small pillows. Great toiletries and refreshments. Not able to drink water from tap but water bottles very small. Staff very friendly and helpful.

had to report poor electrics, they use a lot of old extension leads! , had to go over road for breakfast . on line breakfast price £12 when we went over the road for breakfast the menu said £13, on checkout we were told £29 for two breakfasts very strange?
