We are so excited to open up my property to fellow Airbnb travellers. The Space: Our beautiful home is ideally located in Kensington under 5 minutes walk away from Gloucester Road tube station. There are 3 bedrooms, making it ideal for families. Our home is very spacious. The ground floor has a large dining room that comfortably seats 6 decorated in a beautiful traditional style. My kitchen is fantastic for those who enjoy cooking as it is fully kitted out with everything you could possibly need. The dining room and kitchen are connected but have an optional partition, so you get the best of both worlds. On the first floor, you will find my large light living area. With a table perfect for doing work, lots of comfy seating and a TV. There is also a lovely terrace area. The master bedroom has a massive king-size bed. All the beds are made up with fresh, luxury linens to ensure a great night’s sleep! You’ll also find plenty of storage space in all the bedrooms, so you can get unpacking and start feeling at home right away. The 2 other bedrooms have double beds. The bedroom on the top floor also opens up onto a lovely terrace area and has 2 additional single beds for those who can brave the climb. The master bedroom has an amazing ensuite with a massive bath perfect for those who enjoy a soak. If you are more a shower person there are showers in the other 3 bathrooms. Having so many bathrooms is a real luxury in London. Fluffy white towels and shampoo are provided. Guest Access: You will have full private access to the property for the duration of your stay. The Neighborhood: My home is located in a beautiful area overlooking a park less than 5 minutes walk away from the tube so it is a great base for exploring London from. The desirable area of Kensington is popular for a reason. There is so much to do and see and this house could not be better placed for exploring. You are just a 10 minutes walk away from Exhibition Road where you’ll find the Natural History Museum, Science Museum and the Victoria & Albert. Gloucester road Road itself offers lots of fantastic eating opportunities. The Bombay Brasserie on Gloucester Road is a renowned and highly-rated Indian restaurant with a skylit conservatory. Very good food. Tendido Cero and Cambio de Tercio are sister restaurants on opposite sides of Old Brompton Road. Tendido Cero is a casual tapas bar, with delicious Spanish food and a buzzing atmosphere. Cambio de Tercio has more of a traditional restaurant feel to it and the food, also Spanish, is just as good! Worth booking. Other Things to Note: Please note - there are building works taking place in the property next door which are due to be completed July 2022\. We are sorry for any inconvenience these may cause during your stay. Fresh bed linen, towels, fluffy pillows, toiletries and other necessities are provided for a comfortable stay. The house has not had a deep cleaning in quite some time; dust was visible on the furniture, edges of the floor and the carpeting. There were no screens in any of the windows (maybe this is a London thing) but it was warm enough during the day and the lack of AC really necessitated us opening windows. While there were fans in the room, two of them were not working. There were no paper products in the house when we arrived. There were (4) bathrooms - full or partial, but only two of them had toilet paper and only about 1/2 roll. There were no paper towels in the kitchen and only one trash bag. (Not sure if this is normal). The furniture, namely the ottoman in the primary living room and the upstairs master had a broken leg each. The shades in both bathrooms on the middle floor were broken and had to be raised and lowered manually. The dining room table was unstable and would fold up when anyone leaned on it. The kitchen drawers had an accumulation of usual kitchen crumbs, but significant enough that required us to actually clean the silverware before we used it. We provided soap for the bathrooms, kitchen, etc. The water pressure was not consistent and would directly affect another person taking a shower. Flushing a toilet while someone was showering would result in a noticeable temperature change and on our last day there was no hot water. ##### Mica H. The location is perfect. The beds were clean and comfortable. However the Wifi was non-functional and there were some maintenance issues with the bathrooms. The key pickup location is a fair distance away from the property. Overall a decent experience but this location did not quite live up to the description provided on VRBO. ##### Kirsten R.
