Nice clean room; newly renovated

Posted 25-Jul-2016
We stayed for one night. It's close to the highway and to shopping and lots of restaurants in the area. The room was clean and newly renovated. It was good for the price. We took advantage of the outdoor pool that was available, as well as had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant located in the hotel. The food was good and the prices were reasonable. Overall it was very good, and very convenient. We had no complaints - except for one thing. My 6 year old daughter was upset that they don't get the Treehouse channel!

Good Front Desk Experiences

Posted 23-Jul-2016
Leah at the front desk was a lovely girl and very helpful in finding us a room at a pet friendly hotel. We had booked thinking Days Inns allowed dogs but apparently this one does not.

Unfortunately due to past experiences we are no longer able to accept pets. We are glad to hear that the front desk was able to assist in finding an alternative hotel for your needs.

Great location..loved the pool and the restaurant had great food. Staff was very helpful. Only downside for us was that there was no elevator and even though there was only one flight of stairs it was a lot when you have a baby and all his equipment to carry!

Thank you for your feedback. Our two-storey hotel does not offer an elevator; however, we do our best to accommodate guests on the first floor. Common practice for us is to provide luggage assistance as well. We sincerely apologize if this was not offered to you.

Horrible Holiday Salvaged

Posted 14-Jul-2016
Pros: Friendly Staff Great Location Clean Facilities
Cons: The exercise room was a bit minimal. Some minor wear and tear in the rooms Fans in the washroom
Location: Across from a major mall Easy access to downtown Easy access to the 401
I would just like to say a big thank you to the staff at Days Inn London, Ontario. Firstly, I was on an overnight flight and arrived in London at 6:30am and got to the Hotel a little after 7am. The hotel was able to get us in a room right then and there; which was great considering the lack of sleep. The trip was off to a good start but went downhill fast as the friend I was travelling with decided to start drinking before we left Calgary and basically continue drinking when we got to London. This culminated in no sleep for a 2nd night in a row because of selfish, drunk and childish behaviour from my travel mate. Long story short the staff were able to give me a separate room at a very discounted prices because of the situation I was in (having to deal with a friend who decided to treat the trip as reason to drink in a different city). This is not something I expected and helped save a trip (I had decided to see the concert that Friday then rebook my flight and head home early) that had gone down hill from the start. As I stated earlier the staff were very accommodating, friendly, and understanding of a bad situation and went over and above to help make my trip as comfortable as possible. A big thank you to the staff at Days Inn London from Alberta.

Very close to mall and places to eat!

Posted 25-Jun-2016
Pros: Nice and friendly staff. Very good location. TVs were nice and had maybe around 50 or so channels to choose from.
Cons: The rooms are a little worn and the A/C could be updated.
Location: Right across from the 2nd largest mall in London(?) and lots of places to eat. You can easily find bus stops too.
Across the street from a pretty large mall (White Oaks) and also right next to a Boston Pizza. It's a very good area, especially if you don't have a vehicle (access to buses too). The building has 2 floors and no elevator, but if you don't have a lot of heavy luggage, it's not a problem. My room had a bit of a scent (older/lived in? Not unbearable, but quite noticeable at first) and the A/C was a bit loud and blows very strongly to one side of the room (if there are 2 beds, then the one closer to it will get the full brunt of heat/cold). The staff was really nice and accommodating and I had no problems when I was there. I didn't get a chance to use the pool (I forgot a swimsuit and didn't buy one), but even though the weather was nice, not many people used it so it seemed like it would have been quite nice.

Thank you for your comments. We recently replaced all our guestroom TVs with 43" LG flat screens. Our location is also attractive to our guests, being so close to many great amenities. Thank you for staying with us and sharing your thoughts.

Great deal on Expedia. Great check in and an upgrade to a renovated room! Oh oh. Room not so well renovated and the hotel is full of drunken students on their hurrah before heading home. A rude awakening at 4am with a visit outside the room from the resident skunk and I'm thinking it's not so great of deal. Wouldn't recommend, wouldn't return. Cheap and good for drunken students who don't mind the resident wildlife.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are currently renovating our property with some improvements still needing to be completed. We did have a skunk on our property for a short period of time and the contracted wildlife company took approximately a week to capture and relocate it for us. We apologize for the nuance in the interim.
