The home is close to the heart of the city, but it doesn't feel like it because it is on a quiet street that is the perfect base for seeing the city and staying rested. The Space: This delightful apartment is on the first floor and up some stairs, so may not be ideal for those with limited mobility. The apartment features: \- Fully equipped kitchen \- Dining table \- Kids bedroom with bunk bed and ensuite bathroom with both bath and shower. \- Master bedroom with king sized bed and ensuite shower room (please note there is a bike high on the wall in this room that is not for guest use! It is elevated and out of the way). \- Spacious sitting room with TV, lovely to relax after a day exploring London. \- Terrace with table and chairs, perfect for a morning coffee or evening glass of wine overlooking the charming gardens. \- Access to the private communal gardens. Guest Access: Guests have access to everything in the apartment, except for some of the cupboards. They will also have access to the building's private gardens, shared only by the residents of the building. The Neighborhood: The flat is within close proximity to the popular boutiques, restaurants and bars of King's Road. Food & Drink: The Ivy Chelsea, or the Cross Keys have a pub atmosphere and delicious food. Open only on Saturday, Duke of York Square's Fine Food market is open, curated by Partridges and showcasing an array of artisan and locally produced food. Attractions: The Royal Court Theatre, Cadogan Hall and the Saatchi Gallery are representatives of the arts in Chelsea. The Royal Hospital, home to the Chelsea Pensioners and the venue for the prestigious Chelsea Flower Show, is just moments away and highly recommended. All of the other attractions in London are less than 30 minutes away: Harrods - 12 minutes Piccadilly Circus - 19 minutes Oxford Street - 20 minutes Buckingham Palace - 25 minutes London Eye - 30 minutes Getting Around: Gloucester Road Station - Underground (District, Circle, and Piccadilly lines), is a 10 minute walk away. South Kensington Station - Underground (District, Circle and Piccadilly lines) is a 10 minute walk away. Other Things to Note: Please note that we provide small bottles of shampoo, shower gel, soap, moisturiser and loo roll for the beginning of all our guest stays and once the products are finished, we kindly ask our guests to provide their own thereafter. Please note the property will be prepared by our professional cleaners, using hotel-quality linen and towels. If the booking is 14 days or more, we require a mid-stay clean at an additional cost (the price is dependent on property size). Payment will be taken at the time of the booking and the mid-stay clean includes both a clean and linen change. We can also arrange any additional cleans regardless of the length of the booking upon request. Please note that check-in is between 3pm and 8pm. Early and late check-ins as well as late check-outs are available on request for an additional fee. Where a check in is on a UK bank holiday, there may be an additional surcharge on the cleaning fee as well as an additional cost for a personal check-in. The kitchen was challenging as all the cupboards and work surfaces were full. It we felt like we were home sitting rather than renting the apartment due to the fact that whilst there was plenty of storage, it was all in use. In the master bedroom there were no drawers available to use at all. Three shelves amongst 7 had been cleared for our use and only one small 1/2 section of hanging in one of the wardrobes was available. In the guest bedroom only one wardrobe provided 3 of 7 small shelves. No hanging space at all. We were attending for a wedding and we had no option but to live out of our suitcases; however it may because this was all done last minute. Upstairs resides a small child who runs everywhere relentlessly so if you like living in a drum..... however, we appreciate this is of no fault of the owner. ##### Helen T.
