Didn't realise when booking it wasn't a traditional hotel with reception. However, having said that after I'd fought with the black button on keypad to release keys which wasn't easy for some reason. The room(s) were ideal for 2 night stay, a little tired in places but well worth the money given location.

There is no reception you have to get the keys to your room from code lock box. The room was very cold and there was a bad smell too coming from the restaurant underneath Only good thing is location

This is not a hotel. It is a nail salon. The property was closed upon arrival, the phone number goes to answer machine and alternative accommodation was required. Do not book this scam.

There is no reception or sign of one. The sat nav takes you a hair saloon where the staff makes you feel like you are crazy for asking about the hotel but in fact it is the right place. Then you have to wait for the owner for 20minutes. He arrives and is also very confused. About 40 min later he shows you to the room (a few doors down) and walks really fast, to I point where you might lose him.... the room is not very clean, for example the kettle is dusty and the remote control is sticky. The bathroom is not very clean either and the pillow smells like someone just woke up on it .... overall terrible and I don’t recommend. You won’t see the staff again, apart from the cleaning lady who walks in without knocking when you are coming out of the shower. There is no ‘do not disturb signs available’. Terribly soft bed, the mattress must be older than me. Good location though if you wanna be at walking distance to Victoria station.....

There was no hotel. A nail saloon with a woman who didn't find a reservation and couldn't put me in toucj with hotel. Bery strange and scarey. Wasted my whole day looking for other arrangements.

It was a nice light room and comfortable with plenty of space. We only had 1 towel between the 2 of us and the curtains didn’t shut properly

The hotel isn't staffed - you get a code to unlock the front door (tucked next to a Chinese restaurant on a busy road) and another code to release a key from a safe. The room was nice - clean, modern decor, and I felt very comfortable. Shower was a bit tatty but worked OK (leaked water into the bathroom though)

Checking in was awkward. The official address is a nail shop with no signage above the door to help. I walked by it a few times.. they need to be clearer about their business address and check in process. Very clean and super location

Easy walk from Victoria Station. No lift but just up one flight. Got a quiet nights sleep. Small and basic, but well priced so would recommend for a night or two if you need to be by the train station

This is not a true hotel
We arrived at the address given to find a nail bar/beauty salon. This turned out to be the "hotel" reception. They didn't have any record of our reservation, even thought I was able to show them the confirmation text from Expedia on my phone. The girl who dealt with is was pleasant enough but she was trying to help us whilst at the same time taking phone calls and dealing with people off the street making appointments for beauty treatments. She eventually, after about 20 minutes, got hold of who I think was the owner. He wanted to speak with me to check my reservation. I was able to convince him sufficiently that they found a room for us but it wasn't quite ready. After a bit more waiting the girl lead us out of the beauty parlour, down the road to number 18, where there was a door which she unlocked and led us inside, gave us some keys and told us our room was upstairs number 5. The cleaner had just finished our room. The room was clean but there was a dreadful drain type smell emanating from the bathroom. This didn't go away during our one night stay. There was a window, which wouldn't open. Opening the drawers we found an empty Durex pack and quite a number of coins from Turkey and UAE. During the night there was a humming noise from somewhere outside the room, this gave us a very disturbed night. I cannot at all recommend this hotel as it's not actually a hotel....it's a beauty salon !! This place can only harm the reputation of Expedia.

Stay away from this place.
We stayed there for 2 nights. First, we couldn't find the rooms and the building (there was only a beauty salon) . The Staff wasn't nice. When we finally got to the rooms we discovered that the place was dirty . Everything was covered in dust ( so this place isn't good for alergic people) . The rooms looked as if no one has visited them for a long period of time. I don't recommend this hotel, stay away from this place!

It was a disappointing, what hotels.com have on there website is not true. 1 star rating filthy dirty, no hot water and shower blocked still full of someone else’s dirty water. When I complained the owner said couldn’t get the part to fix the tap for days and it was not liveable advised me to stay somewhere else with full refund from hotels.com this was not the case they gave me $60 back instead of $394 which I paid for 3 nights. They also will not answer my emails regarding this either. I will never book through hotels.com again they still have it rated as a 4 star hotel and the address is wrong on there website too. Was very mislead and very disappointed found a lovely hotel in same area for same price very clean.

Terrible experience, this is not a hotel
Arrived with my son to find that this was a beauty salon under renovation, not a hotel. One of the renovation workers there tried to help me but could not speak English. They called someone who, with a translator, seemed to be telling me that the room was at a different location and that the person on site would take me there. After 10 or 15 minutes trying to verify whether there was really a hotel or not, the worker produced a key and was gesturing that I should follow her. I spoke to the shop next door to see if they new anything about this "hotel" and they said I was the 3rd or 4th person that day who had come in after experiencing similar problems. Not trusting this situation, I left and found a proper hotel nearby. Subsequently, I found that I had received an email from the Belle Cour on the morning of my arrival providing me with a combination code to a box that would unlock a key which would unlock a room in another location down the street! Obviously I would not have reserved a room here if this information had been disclosed on the website.

I was arriving late for my stay so phoned the hotel to let them know. There was no answer or option to leave a voicemail. When I eventually arrived, the 'Hotel' was difficult to spot as it's a just a small door, no frontage. The door was locked, so I phoned the 'out of hours' number shown. There was no answer to this emergency number either. Eventually I phoned hotels.com who informed me that I had to check-in before 9pm so I was left stranded in a grotty part of Victoria with nowhere to stay. I was still charged for the room even though I tried to inform the hotel of my late arrival. AVOID AVOID AVOID

The owner of this place is not very nice. I had to complain that the room that I had to stay was not same as what it showed up on Expedia and the location wasn't right. He was not being helpful and the room was not hygenic at all. It was disgusting and I had to stay there for 4nights and 5days regardless how it was because the owner was not even concider changing to a different room for us. The experience I had with them was terrible and highly do not reccomend to people! It WORSE then motel!!!!

This cannot be described as a Hotel
The hotel is described as a 4 star boutique hotel. This is totally misleading as it is not a hotel as it has no reception and no facilities, nor is it boutique. On arrival at the "hotel" address which turns out to be a Nail Bar - yes a Nail Bar, I asked if I was in the right place and one of the Nail technicians said she would call a woman. The woman said she would arrive at the Nail bar in 10 minutes. Twenty minutes later after getting bored of watching paint dry, I asked the Nail technician to call again, just as the woman arrived. I was then taken a few doors down to another property and up a narrow staircase to a corridor as the woman asked for my reservation and name. Unfortunately despite me showing her my Trivago/Expedia bookings she could not find my reservation and said they were fully booked. I asked to speak to the manager and she said this was not possible as he was in China! We then had a farcical experience of her trying to find me an alternative hotel room using her local contacts while I looked on hotel booking engines. She found a room in another hotel at a higher price and I decided to accept that but then had to get a taxi there at additional cost. Plus additional cost to get me by taxi to my office the next morning. There is no reception, no restaurant or bar and no facilities at the Belle Cour "hotel". It is just a bunch of bedrooms in properties in the area. Not an experience I would wish on anyone.

This is not a hotel but ant apartment over a nail salon. We were on the first floor and you could smell the chemicals from the salon, also the view was the garbage in the bavk. No 24 hour lobby service and the place was dirty.

Great location
I was very disappointed with the room. When I checked in the lady told me I was upgraded to a very nice room. When I walked in, I was scared to see from what room I was upgraded from because the room I got was not great. The pictures were definitely deceiving! The couch was old and falling apart. The restroom seemed to have been updated, but the tiles on the floor were not properly installed. The shower head was also not installed properly, it would fall off without touching it. Getting out of the tub was also scary.
