As a matter of fact the "Fattoria" is in the hands of the same family since 1645\. The two ancient little buildings are part of a hamlet nestled on a hilltop above Londa, a quaint little village 15 minutes drive away in the Chianti Rufina region. From their idyllic, secluded position one can enjoy the view of the Sieve valley and the Mugello woodland which well deserves the name of the" green heart of Tuscany". La Cantina , an old haybarn, and Arco, a former oil-mill have been restored using typical materials such as terracotta floors and chestnut exposed beams .The original stone floors at Arco have all been carefully preserved. The location is ideal for day trips to the many historical Tuscan cities and to the coast or just for a relaxing holiday in a peaceful unspoiled setting among olive groves . If you choose to come with friends or family our houses are a perfect solution: close but quite independent and private with their own private gardens, shady and sunny spots and beautiful views. The houses are furnished with antique and local furniture which complete their rustic charm. Downstairs: living-room with sofa and armchair in front of the fireplace, table and chairs. Kitchen units hidden in a wardrobe: 4 gas hob, oven and fridge. Toaster, kettle and Italian express coffee maker. The room has two door-windows which lead to two different garden areas. one on the eastern and one on the western side of the house, so that s always a shaded and a sunny area Satellite tv, Portable barbecue. La location est située au milieu des montagnes toscanes (petite route de plusieurs kilomètres pour y accéder) dans un très beau cadre (compter 15 min pour accéder aux restaurants/magasins les plus proches). La piscine est partagée : très spacieuse, il y a rarement plus de 2 familles qui s'y rendent en même temps. La location dispose d'une petite cour très agréable et sans vis à vis.Le lit est très confortable. Dommage que la cuisine soit un peu petite. à recommander ! ##### Chloé K. We voelden ons opgesloten tussen de Muren van andere huizen, we zaten 10 Min van t zwembad vandaan op een heuvel bij de Andere huisjes vandaan. Ook naar het dorpje was het bijna 20 min rijden over een slingerende bergweg. Ik heb mailcontact met de verhuurder gehad waarin ik, k dacht netjes, heb aangegeven waarom we zijn weggegaan. Séjour de 7 nuits en août 2019 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Marion B., Schweinfurt, Deutschland 5 juin 2019 #### Wer Ruhe sucht und die Toskana erkunden will ist hier richtig Kleines romantisches Häuschen in der Nähe von Florenz. Schon der nette Empfang unserer Vermieter hat für einen super Start in unseren Urlaub gesorgt. In der Wohnung haben wir frische Blumen und eine Flasche Wein zur Begrüßung vorgefunden. Das Haus bietet alles, was man für einen gelunenen Urlaub benötigt: eine gut ausgestattete Küche, ein großes Bett mit guter Matratze und Badezimmer mit Dusche. Es war alles sehr sauber. Es gibt 2 Terrassen, so daß man zu fast jeder Tageszeit einen sonnigen Platz draußen hat (Falls man mehr Glück mit dem Wetter hat wie wir) Der Pool ist in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Die Poolanlage ist sehr gepflegt. Leider konnten wir sie nicht nutzen, da das Wetter meist nicht so gut war. Wenn man bereit ist bein paar Kilometer zu fahren kann man die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Toskana von hier aus erkunden: Florenz, Lucca, Prato, San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena, Monteriggioni, Pistoia, Arezzo und Pisa. Wir haben es sogar gewagt durch den Nationalpark nach San Marino und Rimini zu fahren. In Londa gibt ers 2 kleine Lebensmittelgeschäfte und auch 1 Apotheke. Wem das nicht reicht, muss einfach ein Stückchen fahren und findet dann auch große Supermärkte. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und können dieses Ferienhaus nur weiterempfehlen.
