« We had a wonderful girls weekend at the Peaceful Country Retreat with my best friend and her two daughters. The house was perfect and very spacious and lots to keep the kids entertained without having to leave the house for the weekend. We caught so many good size bass and enjoyed cooking out and enjoying the back porch and the scenery. Kelly was very responsive and helpful when needed we can't wait to come back! »

« We stayed here over the 4th of July weekend. The house is very well maintained and had everything we might need! The hosts are incredible and responsive if anything came up. And when they warn about the stickers on the walk to the lake, they aren’t joking! Those stickers are awful. But overall, we had a really great time. It ended up raining pretty much the whole time we were there, but we made great use of the card games that were provided! Would absolutely recommend and would stay here again! »

The water level was low so you had to walk a bit or take your car to the neighborhood boat launch. We did that and the kids loved swimming in the lake. Some reviews say that water is a long walk, it's really not, even though the lake receded quite a bit, it's approx a min walk to the water.
