"This fascinating beach home with a private lighted pier was over 100% awesome and relaxing and so clean and well put together! The owner of this home went well over his ways of making this home feel very welcoming and made sure to have everything you are going to need for a perfect stay! I guarantee you won’t find another rental like this one! We definitely look forward to staying in this beach home again over and over as we come to visit Port Lavaca! It has everything you’ll need for cooking. All you have to do is bring your own groceries! The couch turns into a bed for extra room for someone to sleep on! Two separate bedrooms, which are both very comfortable, and both have ceiling fans in them also the room also has a bed that has a trundle bed beneath that was very useful! The restroom is so nice And spacious & had plenty of towels! Nice covered porch in the back with rocking chairs and a pier that is lighted to go fishing on and also has a cover area on the pier and a cleaning area for when you’re fishing! The living room also has a very large TV that has cable so you can relax and watch Netflix as well! In the large garage, they have a washer and dryer, which was awesome because nobody wants to take dirty clothes back with them that smells like bait from fishing! It was a very quiet neighborhood, and we very much liked that! Everything is pretty much very well renovated the fridge does have an automatic icemaker. There is a dishwasher as well and stove and microwave and a crockpot and in the shelves are pots and pans if you need anything. Plenty of windows that allows plenty of sunshine in! Another amazing experience we had here on the private pier was watching the dolphins swimming back-and-forth, and we got to see a baby dolphin with his family, which was so amazing! And the fishing was really good. We were constantly catching different types of fish, and even a couple of stingrays! Sunset was so beautiful here too! The owner does communicate very well which makes this process 100% amazing because you always wanna make sure that you’re able to contact someone if you need anything and they’re able to assist you right away! I guarantee this beach beauty is going to be booking quickly! I shared it on my Facebook page showing family & friends our personal experience from it & I had lots of messages asking for the information to book it! 🎣🐬"

"I was very surprised at the beauty of this beachhouse and the fact that we could have our dogs with us as well as extended family. There was so much thoughtfulness...everything from plenty of dishes and pots/pans to scissors in the drawer which we used numerous times. The nightlights were a great help so we didn't trip during the night. We appreciated the TV/cable. There were just so many thoughtful touches that it would take a book to write about...even soap and shampoo & conditioner in the bathrooms! The only thing I would have wished for was an adjoining bathroom in one of the upstairs bedrooms. Unfortunately the weather was cold and the fishing non-existent from the pier during our stay but we got some much needed rest and relaxation. Again...I can't say thankyou enough for all the wonderful touches you provided!"

"We had a very nice and relaxing stay at this location. You're pretty secluded, but not too far from town if needed. The location is peaceful and great for fishing. The house was clean and perfect for our 3 night stay. I would recommend this home to unplug and unwind."

"My favorite place to stay in Port Lavaca. Its a simple business without a lot of amenities, but it costs less per night and they have rooms for pets and smokers if desired."

"Overall a good night stay. The only thing that bothered me was that there was not a lot of people staying the night and they decided to book a room right next to one that is already occupied. Like spread them out people. You got enough rooms available why book the ones next to eachother. We could hear people next door."
