Great Staycation in France
Friendly and helpful staff.Value studio apartment with terrace,offering a small corner kitchen unit.Ideal location for the market town centre and beach ,in quiet residential area.Spacious parking and only 5 euros a day. Fab boulanger just around the corner.Great juice bars on beach for breakfast.Local bar 16th Art towards the market great terrace for beer,wine and a platter to share or a meal on the terrace staff really friendly.

Good Location
The apartment was in a good location. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. The small kitchen was very handy for breakfast in the morning or if you wanted a snack during the day. Cleaning equipment is not provided. I had my own washing up liquid, pot scrub and tea towel. The towels are provided in the bathroom which is also a good size. There was a bad smell in the bathroom from the drain. I didn't complain about it because we were only there for two nights and when the bathroom door was closed you couldn't smell it. There is a charge for parking but there is free parking on the street. The staff were very pleasant. Overall I would recommend a stay here,

Once bitten, twice shy
My husband and I stayed here for a two night stay. I previously stayed in Adonis 5 years ago and found it a much more positive experience however on this occasion it wasn't as anticipated. I was disappointed by the cleanliness off the room. The floor was grubby, the fridge smelled and window shutters were in need of a good clean. The room had no netting on the window to keep out insects and room was crawling with mosquitos. Upon checkout I counted 18 different mosquito bites on my limbs courtesy of my stay in Adonis.

Lovely modern aparthotel walking distance to all
We stay here quite often as it is one of our nearest beach resorts.The hotel is modern and with a small kitchen and we pay extra for a terrace to sit out in feels like an apartment.Walking distance to the beach and town centre ,market shops.Lovely bakery turn left ,then turn right to main road for croissants etc.We buy cakes and have a dessert and coffee on the terrace after eating out.It is possible to self cater but we like to eat out,when on holiday but have breakfast also on the terrace.Nice little heated pool.Hotel staff are very thoughtful.Would recommend it to all.Very reasonable cost for the facilities provided.Some French Hotels are very basic and with little facilities.Eating and drinking on the beach is expensive but there are plently of meal deals of the beach particularly at lunch times.

Good location
It was our last resort bc we booked so late so it was ok enough of a place. They didn't give us new fresh towels when I asked and there was the bare minimum in the room. The room was decent size and came with a balcony so not too bad overall.

Clean hotel, no services
Not that far from seaside/beach, not that far from city center, not that far from the shops/Casino/restaurants, but overall not that close either. Calm location. Not even that good for business trips as reception has tight opening hours. Almost missed my chance to get my key. Good value for money when half price enforced, otherwise would recommend to avoid.

The hotel was excellent price and very comfortable. I would recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to visit la Baule as it close enough to the beach and main Street to walk and get to visit the main parts.

Good residente hotel in a beaultiful city
Food faciliteis but bad cleaniness. The hotel only changed the towels after a week. Never changed the blankets. I hard to buy the sanitary tissues.

Practical and comfortable hotel.
For such a popular and busy resort the hotel was perfect for us. We could self cater or use the hotel facilities. Great being able to make a cup of coffee when you want to and I found a bakery about 5 mins walk away for lovely fresh croissant. Excellent shower - all very clean. Hotel quiet and receptionist really nice. The dogs were allowed and although we paid for the parking there was loads which is a bonus in La Baule. Affordable and practical. I think there are more luxurious rooms/suites available but our room was more than adequate as we were visiting friends. It is fairly close to the Equine Centre for anyone who travels there to show jump. I was pleased to get a room that was not silly money. It was cheaper to book through Expedia as the rates were on the wall. You can buy ad-ons too.

Very small and ill equipped pool. No hair drier, no kettle, no teacups, and no room cleaning. Products such as toilet paper and clean towels, have to be provided by the client. The breakfast was minimal, no fresh fruit, or great choice. €10 certainly not worth it. No air con, which for a new build hotel is unbelievable. However, the rooms were comfortable, the kitchenette was a god send (after buying washing up liquid, dishcloths, tea towels and coffee mugs, and boiling water in a saucepan !!) and it is very modern, which is what you would expect for a one year old establishment. There are no staff on reception after 9pm until 7am the following morning, and the gates and entrance doors are locked during these times. If you gave forgotten the codes to re enter the hotel, then you are locked out. Paying €5 a day for parking was also a shock. I do hope that this is NOT the way forward for other new build hotels.

Very nice new Apartotel
Excellent value. Very smart, well maintained new building. Well kept grounds. Good kitchen in room - but no kettle ! A microwave would have been helpful. Visitors should know that Reception is shut between 12.00 & 15.00 - & it is not possible check-in between these times !

Great except for the smell
The place looked good and we got a good price relative to the posted rate, but I think it would be reasonable for them to provide the cleaning supplies for the kitchenette as other places do. The most important flaw was the smell, the sheets smelled like sweaty gym socks or strong cheese, it was not pleasant. If it weren't for the smell I would have likely been able to give a much better rating.

Lovely modern hotel.
The studio rooms are similar to have a little apartment as there is a corner kitchen fridge, Patio windows lead out to a little garden or terrace, with a table and two chairs. A short walk to the beach, there are many places that you can walk to. If you turn left and go down the street where there is a house called belle vue there is a great bakery, Best pain au raisin I have had. This area is also La Baule market which is superb and loads of great seafood. Lots of nice cafes with oysters and wine bars .Beach easy walk and great bars and eateries on beach to suit all budgets. Walk left along the beach to the port and another experience. At night the port comes alive. Salt marshes and medieval city of Guerande next door.

A great little Hotel
We just loved the Adonis and are already planning our return. In the middle of the heat wave only downside is no air conditioning but as the temperatures 30 plus are not normal and more in the 20,s should not be an issue. Able to open patio windows and as so close to the beach seaside breeze.

Nous étions dépendant du train mais tout s’est bien passé. Adepte de la marche cela ne nous a pas dérangé. Le temps n’était pas au rdv pour profiter de la terrasse dommage. Le bémol je dirais le bruit du frigo à côté du lit et le matelas pas à mon goût. Sinon résidence très bien et personnel sympathique.

Séjour agréable dans l'ensemble
Séjour d'une nuit en couple, avec note chien. C'est dommage d'accepter les chiens dans l'établissement mais pas au petit déjeuner, on le met où ? ... on n'est normalement pas autorisé à laisser son chien seul dans la chambre. Literie agréable, sauf pour les oreillers qui sont vraiment très très plats et mous.

Bonjour Monsieur,Nous vous remercions pour votre retour positif.Concernant le chien, il n'est pas accepté au petit-déjeuner pour différentes raison et notamment par rapport aux autres clients qui déjeunent.Il est tout à fait possible de le laisser dans la chambre si il est propre et non bruyant pendant le petit-déjeuner et effectivement il n'est pas autorisé à le laisser seul si vous quittez l'établissement.Belle journée à vous !Lydia FONTAINE/directrice
