Our cottage sits on 5 wooded acres very private offering a 6 person hot tub, full kitchen, one bedroom with queen size bed , one queen size sleeper sofa and twin bunks in the great room , stone woodburning fireplace, outdoor firepit, front porch, 52ft balcony loverlooking the tall oaks and wildlife, and gas grill. We stayed for a weekend with our young kids and everyone was comfortable and had a place to sleep. The cabin was super clean and felt off grid enough without being super far from civilization. We loved not having WiFi or good cell service, it totally enhanced the experience for us. Our kids loved watching the DVDs and learning to use a vintage DVD player. Hot tub was a hit, too.We were very close to Logan for dinner and groceries. And also very close to Hocking Hills where we did some hiking. Brian was a great host and gave us a call ahead of our arrival to make sure we had everything we needed. He was super friendly and clearly loved sharing this cabin with other families. Very secluded, hot tub was amazing, cabin was soo welcoming and clean, was cool enough to have a fire inside both nights, it rained all weekend but didn’t put a damper on anything. The property looked exactly as I was expecting from the pictures! It was clean and cozy and beautiful! It was a very peaceful and relaxing stay. A lot of places don't let you use their fireplace, and I liked that we could, so extra bonus. And you can tell there is some history with this place. I went with wife and kids (8 and 10) and would absolutely recommend. ##### John Y. Of course, you'll have electricity and good water, but getting away from TV, Internet, and Phone is a much needed break. The cabin is PERFECT for a couple or small family. The knotty pine interior is beautiful and woodsy while the setting is secluded. The hot tub was clean and comfy, though access in the snowy winter might be a challenge.You'll be reasonably close to many great hikes in the Hocking Hills area as well as to Logan, in case you need to buy food or supplies.If you need to get away, this is a great spot! ##### Greg V.
