The couch cushions had large dark stains and there were numerous dead bugs. The sliding glass door was broken and couldn’t lock. The beds were pretty hard and the heaters did not seem to work correctly. The TV remote also did not work. The hot tub was 50 days overdue for a clean. The water in the house also smelled so strongly of sulfur we couldn’t even shower. Though the area is nice and it could be a cute place, I would not recommend. ##### Carolynn D. The house was clean enough, but I would say that it is in need of a deep clean…ceiling fans, cabinets, baseboards etc. Make sure you confirm with the rental company the location of the key before you arrive! We were enjoying the hiking at Hocking Hills every day and it was great to soak in the hot tub every evening after returning. It could use a deep cleaning, especially windows, corners of floor and sinks. The sofa and loveseat are very worn, uncomfortable to sit in and there needs to be other chairs/seating and lights for reading or conversing. ##### Anita S. Downside was water smelled bad, not enough kitchen counter space for food preparation and kitchen supplies were scarce. We left behind a new can opener and potato peeler because we couldn’t find a potato peeler and the can opener didn’t work. The knives were so dull that we couldn’t even slice a cucumber so we had to go buy our own to use. Otherwise the place was very nice. Very quiet and we needed that! Thank you. ##### Gail B.
