It is clear that what can be done within the confines of the building structure, to keep up with modern needs, has been done. However, if you require the refinements of a modern hotel this is not going to tick your requirement boxes. Notably, as a couple one of whom has limited mobility, for us the room we were given was much smaller than a modern counterpart and did cause us some difficulties. The staff were very helpful, particularly in providing the loan when I discovered I had inadvertantly brought the wrong type of charger for our devices, including the mobility scooter. I did note that there are two dedicated electric charging spaces at the rear of the hotel. These were much in demand, and we only saw them in unoccupied once."
