Step inside the spacious great room, where floor-to-ceiling windows frame stunning west-facing lake views and fill the space with natural light. Whether you're relaxing on the cozy couches, cooking in the fully equipped L-shaped kitchen with quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances, or dining at the vintage wood table with views of the lake, you'll feel right at home. The land to the south of Hygge is adjacent to Caywood Point, part of the Finger Lakes National Forest. Hiking in that direction is suggested. The land to the north of Hygge is privately owned. Sounds carry on the lake, please be mindful. Hygge accommodates parking for 3 vehicles. Like much of the lake front homes in our area, the terrain is rugged. The road to Hygge is steep and has several sharp turns, we recommend AWD or 4WD. Please drive slowly and with caution. Boat trailers, campers and vehicles larger than a standard SUV or Pick Up will not fit down the road. Occupancy: This property is closely monitored for responsible renting. The maximum occupancy of each home is the number of guests allowed on the premises at any given time. This includes both day and overnight guests. Note: 1\. Smoking is not allowed in any rental property. This includes vaping and e-cigarettes. 2\. Homes are not handicap accessible, unless stated in the description. 3\. Air conditioning is not available unless listed as an amenity. If available, air conditioning is considered a seasonal amenity and is only available May 15 - October 15. 4\. The house is in a great location with amazing views of the lake. The house is modern and cozy with all the amenities you would need. The house was very clean and well kept overlooking the lake. The road to the house was a crushed gravel with 3 sharp turns. We had a Jeep grand Cherokee with 4WD but didn’t feel like it was a necessity like some of the other reviews I read. It was recommended but not necessary maybe only in winter months? The steps down to the lake maybe a challenge for some people but we tried to minimize trips up and down. Kayaks were in good shape and easy to put in the lake. Did not use the hot tub, sauna or the outdoor gas grill but they looked in good condition. Overall I would highly recommend this property and had a wonderful stay with my friends ##### Caroline M.
